I have owned an HP 8600 Printer for a long time. The printer is a high quality unit, but I get very little value when using genuine HP ink. Refills run upwards of $70 or more for all the colors. For some reason I run out of cyan, magenta and other colors frequently despite mainly doing B+W printing. HP knows how to milk their customers for money. I discovered GPC replacement cartridges on Amazon and figured I'd give them a shot. I can't tell the difference - the GPC cartridges are way more reasonably priced and every bit as good. Make sure you follow the directions and remove the yellow label before installing! I forgot to do this and was getting error messages. Once I removed it, everything worked great.

I have used several different replacement cartridges ovef the past few years for my HP Office jet and I can tell that I am really impressed with the quality I have seen with these. First off, I must be fair and say that I do not these to print photos, so I can not elaborate on the quality there. However I do print more than 500 pages a week due to my online classes and so far I have not had any major issues with the ink smearing or clogging the print head. Occasionally I have to calibrate but as with any HP printer,that is expected when not using their name brand ink. For the cost of these cartridges I was able to get three of each, which saves me quiet a bit of money considering that the HP brand kit cost ovef $100, with these I managed to get 3 supplies for less than $40. I have had the first set in my printer over a month as of now, and I’m still printing with the same quality I began with. As I mentioned, I’m not printing photos, only reading material required in my class work and occasionally order confirmations and receipts. In all,I can say that I am extremely satisfied with these ink cartridges and with the value as well. These have already proven to save me money,and that alone has me sold!

The order arrived as expected and upon opening the package, I was surprised to see that no protective "yellow label" was covering the connector as indicated in the installation guide. All cartridges in the package were this label.After installing the cartridges, some of them needed a stronger push for inserting them, and ignoring the HP warning, the printer was getting ready and gave a cartridge error message. After following the suggestions in the user guide, removing and re-inserting one of the cartridge a couple of times, the printer gave me the green light and was ready to print. I guess that without the protective yellow label, the connectors connected dirt or other particles blocking the proper connection.That out of the way, I have to say that my printing is fine, as good as any HP cartridges and I am looking forward to experience the longevity and quality of these cartridges. So far, so good.

These cartridges are a great value. They work on my HP 8600. Easy to install and work great.

I have officially owned these ink cartridges for over a year now. I have always bought HP ink, but it's insanely expensive and I had a lot of printing to do for a benefit event - so I gave these a try.Originally, this ink was totally fine; I was able to print all of my flyers and brochures, etc. without any issue. My printer is in an office and I use it daily, I had no issues for months - so I kept using this ink.Fast forward to a couple months ago, my printer started having issues. It no longer prints correctly and I have to clean the print head constantly in order to *hope* that it prints what I need. I can no longer use color, that has been completely ruined and either no longer prints at all, or will not print the correct colors. I can sometimes use only black, but that's not a guarantee either.I read a few reviews that mentioned it ruining their printer, and I figured there was enough positive reviews that I'd give it a shot.... that probably wasn't the smartest choice I've ever made. My poor printer is pretty much junk now, considering I do need it to print in color at times - which my printer no longer does. My HP8600, which I truly loved, is now going to have to be replaced.I'm unsure why this ink would ruin one printer, and not the next. I'm wondering if it takes a little while until it actually effects the printer - and I do use my printer pretty hard. So, while the ink was a savings to me, having to purchase a new printer negates any cost savings that I may have had... what a bummer this ink turned out to be.

When I purchased this I did not realize there were 3 sets of ink cartridges. So when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I installed the cartridges into my printer, cleaned the print heads and then printed a 279 page manual, it printed perfectly. No complaints and have since printed many more things. No issues and the quality has remained the same, very good. When it's time, I will purchase again.

I bought this ink for my elderly neighbor who asked me for help with her printer stuff. We traditionally buy ink on Amazon and this is a new printer so I took a chance on this one. Was not disappointed at all. She installed it herself and has had no issues. It is an amazing value!initially when I thought she needed it same day I went to Target to buy her a black ink cartridge and it was $30 for one cartridge!! This is $30 for everything This will keep her going for easily a year or more. We are both very happy.

Although you certainly get your money's worth, I had two cartridges that were diffective...as I have only used one set so far, I have no ides if the other cartridges are all good

This totally destroyed our printer.Never again.Don’t buy this crap.It is not worth it.
