Couldn't think of anything worse. It's like a kid has gone shopping and dumped everything in a box. You could have got the same stuff yourself through separate orders on Amazon and it would workout cheaper. For the price, you'd think they'd at least unboxed the items and put them in a reusable box. That way, you'd get a self-catering box ready to go for uni or holiday trips. But no, it's just any good old box to hold all the items together.As for the quality of the items, the scissors are useless. One is completely unusable and gone in the bin. The rest are OK, but wilko provides better quality and at a cheaper price.Overall very bad purchase. This is the first ever item that I've bought and felt an instantaneous regret. Come on, people. Just a little bit more effort to package this up, so that the set is reusable and practical for other situations, would make the price tolerable.

Note - this review is for the 35+ piece essential box.Personally I found that the quality of most of this is too thin/cheap. With a student using it I can't see it lasting long and will no doubt have to replace most of it this / next year. Gets them going though, that's all I can say.If you want it to last longer, get the more expensive version or just make up your own kit. This one is just convenient.

Overall pleased with the items. I do wish it came with at least a single chef's knife or a paring knife. Something to cut vegetables with at the very least. I did notice the handle of the frying pan seems a little wobbly but I think it'll stay secure for the jobs it will be needed for.

I'm very happy with this purchase, it saves you money and especially time to get all the (basic) stuff you need for your kitchen.Overall quality is good, maybe some tools aren't the top but I feel satisfied.The only item is almost unusable is the towel: when you use it to dry, there's always a lot of fluff left on the surface.

I have a child about to leave for university and thought this would be ideal as a starter kit. I wasn't wrong. The box arrived on time, it was well packed to prevent damage and contained pretty much everything required for the kitchen. I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation.

Cheap quality - will definitely not last long. Crockery is fine but the kitchenware is questionnable.All contents need a wash before use. Ok for emergency usage but that's it and maybe someone who is not so keen on cooking. Utensils are particularly cheap quality.

Items in box are of good quality and a good selection for uni digs.
