I wanted a trekking pole that can also be a self defense stick but when I saw this, I decided to go with it. I was quite pleased with it's size for portability. The material seem to be tough, lightweight and of good quality. I live on the foot of a mountain and I like hiking up to it. Carrying this tool with me makes me feel so much safer as it is pretty versatile with whatever might come up while hiking, climbing, or having to stop somewhere while driving. The shovel itself has multi purpose use. From digging, sawing, chopping, etc. Being able to start fire, and also a knife. I can only imagine all the things I can do with this tool in case the need arises and all of these for a right price!

This thing is so AWESOME! My neighbor has the original version of this shovel. I’ve wanted one ever since I saw his but it was way too expensive at the time. I figured I’d wait until other manufactures copied it and sold it for less. I finally came across one that fit my budget and jumped on it.Having held the original version, I can say that this one is just as nice. It’s made from cnc aircraft aluminum. It’s lightweight and very durable. The wide handle makes it feels comfortable and secure when in use. The shovel breaks down into a nice compact size making it convenient for hiking, camping, ect.I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Blade was very sharp, first couple of branches, cut through them like butter About the 4th one in, handle snapped where two pieces thread together leaving threads inside, add to that, when it broke, the blade bounced backwards and shaved a small chunk of skin of the inner part of my shin which resulted in me throwing the handle just far enough to make it impossible to fined. Not sure about all the rest of the features. The entire kit, or what was left of it, went in the dumpster at the camp site.

The product packaged was obviously a previously returned product because the product inside was void of certain amenities listed ie the whistle, ferrous rod, etc. Shovel appeared to have been altered as well. I retutned it once these discoveries were made.

High quality. Very sharp. Hidden tools are good.Only 3 stars bc the step is so narrow. I've ordered rubber step add-ons to mitigate. Also the top is pointed, so you can't really push down. A D-shaped handle would be a big improvement. Therefore not great for metal- detecting, but probably fine for camping. A belt sheath would be good.

It's lightweight, the shovel works, the knife works, and the saw, although small, works well enough for gardening work. The rest really take away from the tool. Due to the screw 'locking' mechanism, any force applied to the axe side of the blade immediately causes the head to come loose. That's right, if the axe side hits anything hard, the head comes loose. Unfortunately, the same thing happens to when tilling if you hit a root. There only reason it doesn't happen when using the shovel, is because I place my foot on the back of the blade. Ordinarily, i would only take off the star due to lack of functions if the others made up for it, but the move of failure is actually dangerous. When he heard comes loose, it can be quite jarring. Considering that it is advertised to be functional as an axe, and that it can fail when being used as such, I will take off two stars. The sad part, is that if the head was fixed, I would really like this tool. Instead, I ended up tossing it aside in favor of more dependable tools.

I love this tool. I’ve had it for 3 weeks now and have found myself using it almost daily. Its well worth the money. Don’t expect something large. I was surprised by the small size but after using the shovel and keeping it in the truck the size isn’t an issue. Some of the junctions feel a bit loose but doesn’t compromise the utility of the tool. All-in-all I’m really happy with this. Im an outdoorsmen and this is the perfect multi tool. They should make a larger version as well.

It broke after the first day of use, and they wouldn’t respond to my message about the fact. 100% guarantee? I think not. By broke I mean it literally snapped in half when using the axe portion for hitting dead wood off of a tree. I’m glad nobody got hurt!
