Red Boat nuoc mam Premium Extra Virgin Finest Fish Sauce PHU QUOC 100ml (40°N)

I tried this fish sauce as it it was high on the list of the worlds best fish sauces. It was a revelation and its flavour was amazing. It really lifts a stir-fry to the next level. I will be be buying the large bottle next time. The only downside is now that I have tasted this reasonably priced sauce, I am curious how great the number one fish sauce might be (but it is a serious jump in price, so I might stick with this one). Buy with confidence.

I use a lot of fish sauce, cooking, Thai foods et cetera and I always find the smell when I open the bottle extremely offputting not so with this it doesn’t have that same stench. It also doesn’t have a lot of the nasty that other brands have no MSG for example. So although it’s more expensive, I like to know that I’m not feeling my body with chemicals And therefore will be more than happy to pay extra and will buy more when my current bottle comes out

It’s not too salty but adds a bit of flavour to the dishes .

This was one of the few fish sauces I could find with no added sugar. It is quite a small bottle for the price but it packs a punch and has a lovely flavour. I only use a tsp in red thai curry for two people so it will last a while. I will buy it again simply because it has no added sugar which is great for a PCOS diet.

Bit more expensive than others but worth it... very tasty, a little goes long way!

Paid £8 for a tiny bottle of fish sauce. I would stick to the usual anchovy sauce.

I like this fish sauce, not too dominant a flavour (some are) and a suitable size for trying out. I will buy again, worth the money.
