For Archeology lover
Quite refreshing Author, Not too much acton, and when there is action, it is beleivable.Enough historical detail to sent me to my computer several time to check on different subjets, And to my surprise, I found myself caught in the history enough to serach for more détails upon finishing this book. Also love the last pages wich separate facts from fiction.

A Fun Adventure Book
I enjoy David Gibbins books. I first picked up "Crusader Gold" as a paperback from reading the back-cover description. I back-bought "Atlantis" and have worked my way through the entire series. I'm a reader of both ancient and modern history, am a scuba diver, and am interested in origination myths and comparative religions. All of those interest come together in these novels, which both inform and excite."Gods of Atlantis" brings back many elements of the past novels, but it is not necessary to have read the past books to enjoy this thriller. In reading Part II of "Gods of Atlantis" I'm simply amazed at how vividly Gibbons portrayed the fall of Berlin in the closing days of WWII. Gibbons has an excellent knack of giving enough detail to bring a scene alive without getting too bogged down in historic detail. I also love how this book brings together elements of several of the previous books in the series. A nice payoff to loyal readers.

Ritmo avvincente e archeologia!
Molto apprezzabili inoltre i dettagli storici e tecnici!

Atlantis - Unfinished business with friends
David has tied up so many loose ends in this work that it satisfies thoroughly. For all those who have journeyed with Jack from Atlantis the first time the details come flooding back not only of that first Atlantis adventure, but also of each subsequent Howard discovery. David has reminded his readers of the experiences over the past eight years which have established the characters (those who survived, and the casualties) we have come to know so well.Once more David has used his vast personal experience and knowledge of all things archaeological to produce a totally plausible adventure which compels the reader to want to be part of the present day action as much as the historical background it stems from.A great read! The only question - when will we see Jack on the big screen ?

A Brilliant Archaeological Thriller
David Gibbins has excelled again in his meshing of historical and maginative events. I learned lots about the history of our human development as told by archaeology and I enjoyed an immensely adventurous story with great well drawn characters. I love his ability to draw you in with his could be might be magical approach.
