My dog eats this.
My dog eats this and isn't ill afterwards. I assume that as it's gone so quickly that the dog enjoys this!

Turned up full of maggots....
I would give this product less if I could. This product turned up sealed but full of maggots .. luckily we had a good check before feeding any to our dogs.A complaint was made to amazon and although they were receptive they only offered a £5 voucher which considering I put my hand in a bag of maggots I thought this was pretty low..I have had other products from this brand .. however as this seemed to be a issue at the factory it self (As the bag was sealed). I am now worried about getting anything else from this product line.

A real hit with our dog and us ...
We have a nine year old Jack Chi who is extremely lively and also very fussy eater … we have always fed her on dried food as wet food seems to upset her stomach. She likes most dried dog food but for the year or so our we have been feeding her on another premium dog food… she wolfs this down without any hesitation. However she might like it but her digestive system doesn't … she gets terrible wind … it's so bad we have to leave the room. She also often has very loose stools. We couldn't wait to try her on this Amazon Brand 'Lifelong' Dry Dog Food Chicken. This dry food is made with 40% chicken, dried vegetables, fruit and herbs many of which are advertised as being very gentle on a dog's digestion … we shall see. Although this food is primarily for medium and larger breeds, I am sure its also fine for any senior fairly active and energetic dog.The ingredients in this food are all good and include amongst many others …Chicken 40%Chicken and pea proteinFish oilSeaweedMarigold flowersDried herbs (rosemary, thyme, basil, ginger, agrimony)GlucosamineChondroitinYucca SchidigeraDried AppleDried TomatoDried CarrotCitrus Extracts (Grapefruit, Orange, Tangerine, Bergamot)Vitamins and mineralsAnd moreShaped in medium sized dark brown kibble sized pieces which feel quite solid in the hand, they have a strong meaty smell. We have been feeding our JackChi these kibbles for the last two weeks at the recommended amount of 160g per 12kg of the dog's weight (split into two meals per day) and as with all dried food we made sure that she had a plentiful supply of water with the food. Our dog absolutely loves this food and gets really excited at breakfast and dinner time. She appears to be full of energy and good health, also her skin and coat look better … and best of all we have all noticed a huge reduction in her flatulence which benefits everyone in the house … this food is a keeper, and it's not too expensive either.

🐶 Great Dog Food but Pricey 🐶
Our dog has allergies and has to have hypoallergenic food. This is great for him as it's a Single Animal Protein Source (Chicken). No Added Wheat, Maize, Soya, Egg, Lactose, Grain or Gluten in it. It has Natural Antioxidants, with Fruits and Vegetables. As this is a senior dog food it helps digestion With a Selection of Naturally Aromatic Herbs that Help Digestion. This is great because some elderly dogs can need a bit of help in that department. If you are switching out your dog food for this one, it is recommended to replace your current dog food with a quarter of this every 2-3 days so 25% this food for first few days then upto 50% for a few days then 75% and so on until after a week or so it's 100% this food. This is good as some dogs don't like to have their food completely changed altogether and won't eat it.Our dog loves this and do far it hasn't irritated his skin or stomach or flared up any of his allergies. He eats it no problem. From a dog's perspective it's great and tasty. From a human perspective it's really expensive dog food, £52 for 10kg. If your happy to pay this much for dog food then it's great. If like me, you think it's a little expensive for dog food, then there are cheaper hypoallergenic foods that are natural like this one out there.Thank you for reading my review and I hope this was helpful to you 👍

Our dogs love this hearty, healthy dried food
£28 for 5kg of a single-source animal protein dry dog food, with snow added filler ingredients and a large proportion of chicken meat, makes for one tasty meal for our border Collies. Our dogs are reaching 10 now so we have been phasing in some better quality foods to help keep them fit and healthy. This is the second amazon-vrand dog food we have tried (the other being Salmon) and once again we are thoroughly impressed. They come with a fabulous nutrition profile and ingredient list which is full of good quality foods that provide our dogs with the nutrition they need. They smell pungent, but not in a bad way - the salmon one smells like fresh salmon and this chicken one smells like a very strong meal of roasted chicken. These include added vitamins and minerals, including glucosamine which we use to help our dog's joints and means we don't have to supplement them with so much. Our dogs get 150g of this mixed into their normal food per day, each, meaning it should last about two weeks at £0.88/day/dog. For that price we are happy enough to buy more and recommend this for the good of our pets. Our dogs do of course love to wolf this down for meals, but we keep some biscuits aside as small snacks through the day as they are healthier than most other snacks available.

My Gold Labrador loves this
I have an 8.5 year old Golden Labrador and to be honest, there isn't much that you can put in his food bowl that he won't eat. However, there has been some dog foods in the past, that have given him an upset stomach. This Lifelong Grainfree Dry Food is great, he eats it up quick, and we have given it to him each day for a week, and no problems with his toileting. However, although I had a free sample through Vine, I don't think this food is great value for money given the RRP on Amazon is £27.99 (as of December 2019). The dog food I normally purchase is nearly a third of the price, but for twice the amount! So for the RRP, I am giving this 4 stars.
