Just received and installed these, very straight forward application sync, then connected to my Google Home app.Was pleased to find they fit in my fan even with its glass globe in place.Only concern here is that these bulbs are not bright enough to be the only source of light in a room. I have other color change lights in that same area, so that is not a deal breaker, but just be aware if you need a well illuminated room, a single one of these bulbs will not be sufficient.

These are crappy bulbs connected with an even crappier app. They constantly loose their connection to WiFi so you spend all your time reconnecting them. Sometimes it works, other times you have to throw the bulb away.It seems that most or all smart devices are manufactured in China. That is not the problem though. The devices that never work correctly are the ones designed in China. American designs, even though manufactured in China, are okay. But if you see any devices that connect via Avatar app, Smartlife app, Magic Home app, etc, move on and save yourself some stress.

these are not very bright but that's what I wanted. if you're trying to pair to a different app than theirs (I only want to use smart life app) I suggest using AP mode. worked much faster. 2 other minor complaints: they get fairly hot when turned up all the way, timer mode doesn't set to specific colors or intensities it just reverts to most recent setting. generally though, I'm happy for the 15 bucks I spent.

They work but they're not very bright. I have 4 above our kitchen table, they're about half as bright as the old bulbs we had. They work great with Alexa and have lots of color options, just sad they aren't brighter.

It works really well. It took a little bit to connect to Alexa but after that it works really well. Easy to set up and the modes are kind of fun

Lights are pretty cool!! It took a minute to integrate to Alexa but no harder than the other devices we’ve done. I love the various colors and “moods.” Super fun! But they’re dim which is expected for 40 watts.

These bulbs worked great at first. But I have since moved and have a new WiFi passwords. I cannot get these bulbs to connect. So they are just used as regular bulbs. Which is inconvenient for the light and position I have them in.
