Cracked pipe?, time for a change
I needed to change my WORN OUT pipes in the car, AS THE SMELL OF FUMES was being carried afar !!!!

Potential danger.
Not fit for purpose, used with a carburetor so at a low pressure, not subjected to any untoward stresses, within a year has perished and split causing a petrol leak at a union, luckily I noticed before anything disastrous occurred, check your pipes.
