Vango Stargrove Air 600XL Tent Treetops

Finally received the tent today. The wrong tent was sent within days. The service from the supplier was great. Returned, refunded and replaced in a week. Just tested in the back garden, will be camping next week. The tent is great. Easy to pitch and very spacious. 3 doors to bedrooms however each room is separated with a thin removable sheet. This is good for versatility but not so good for privacy. Looking forward to a camping trip with out the arguments about where to put the poles.

Brought the tent as an ex demo model and took it to Devon for the first time last week. Even though we are new to airbeam tents it was easy to put up and took us about 20 mins..not too bad for a first go. The tent endured 40mph winds while we were there and stood fast. The only down side is that in the wind it's very noisy inside and sounded worse than it actually was outside. The beams were inflated to 6.5 and never moved or went down. It was well guy roped down though. Very spacious inside and having carpets in both main part and bedroom made it cosy. Blinds on outside a bit of a pain if the weather is bad but it is a budget tent so can't complain. Took about 15 mins to take down and we struggled to pack it as tight as the shop did so will need to practice. Bag is huge so still fitted back in it. Overall a good sound tent...lacks the finesse of some of the dearer versions but for weekends away surfing or cycling it was perfect.

Purchased this for a family of 4, it's supposed to be a 6 berth but everyone knows they exaggerate on the size of the bedrooms with tents, the tent itself is overall very good build quality (should be for the price) although there are a few small niggles I have, one is with the Velcro patches on the door zips, they overlap the seam where they are attached & it looks tacky & not thought out very well, secondly the first tent that came had minor damage to the front door net window in places & was visible to the eye, needless to say it's been returned & I'm awaiting a replacement tent, you shouldn't get this on a tent of this price. Overall it's a good sized tent, it's in the lower end of price range for this size too & the construction is very good, also includes a very sturdy pump with gauge attached & a puncture repair patch
