Good-bye, dryer sheets!
I have a friend who uses these due to allergy issues, and I was intrigued. When I ran out of dryer sheets a couple of months ago, I decided to get these. I liked the idea that they were reusable for quite a long time, are easier on your clothes and your dryer, are natural and environmentally-friendlier than dryer sheets, and dry your clothes faster thus using less electricity. I use four balls for a regular load of clothes, and 2-3 for a small one.I quite like these. They do seem to get your clothes drier faster than dryer sheets, and my clothes are just as wrinkle-free. I had static-cling issues in the beginning, but upon reading the reviews here I discovered that you could spritz each ball with water to combat that-- it worked. Now I spray them every time I use them. I have also seen that you can use essential oil on the balls if you want to add some scent. I did that once, putting one drop of Fabulous Frannie's "Vanilla Latte" oil on each of the four balls, but it didn't seem to transfer to the sheets with which I dried with them. Will increase the drops per ball each time and report back if it works. The one and only thing I don't necessarily care for about these, is that if there's not much in the dryer they can be quite loud. I mean, this is only logical though. I frequently hang clothes outside on the line to dry, but do not hang socks outside. When you have just socks and a couple of dryer balls in there, it's noisy. But it's completely bearable for all the other benefits you get. And I don't ever hear them when there's a full load. I do recommend these for all their benefits!

Bring your clothes back to life!
As someone who has used fabric softener sheets my entire life, switching to Wool Dryer Balls was a big change for me. My primary motivation was to find a more eco-friendly alternative, and I'm pleased to say that my first experience has been quite positive.Static Reduction:One of my main concerns was whether these wool balls would effectively reduce static. After using them on four loads of laundry, I noticed only one instance of static, and it was very minor. This is a significant improvement and confirms that Wool Dryer Balls can indeed help reduce static cling.Performance with Different Fabrics:I used these dryer balls mainly while washing my sweaters to store them away for the season. The results were impressive. My winter puffer jackets, in particular, came out of the dryer looking and feeling puffier than ever. It felt like the wool balls helped restore the condition of my jackets, which is a huge plus.Noise Level:There is a noticeable difference in noise compared to fabric softener sheets. The wool balls create a small banging sound as they bounce around in the dryer. However, I didn't find this noise to be bothersome or annoying. It's a small trade-off for the benefits they provide.Environmental Impact:One of the biggest advantages of Wool Dryer Balls is their eco-friendliness. Unlike fabric softener sheets, which are single-use and contribute to waste, these wool balls are reusable and reduce the environmental footprint of my laundry routine.Pros:Significant reduction in static cling.Improved the condition of winter puffer jackets, making them look puffier and better maintained.Eco-friendly alternative to single-use fabric softener sheets.Reusable and durable.Cons:Slight banging noise in the dryer, but not annoying. Conclusion:Overall, Wool Dryer Balls have proven to be an effective and eco-friendly alternative to fabric softener sheets. They reduce static, help maintain the condition of clothing, and are reusable, making them a sustainable choice. Despite the minor noise, the benefits far outweigh this small inconvenience. I am thrilled with the results and plan to continue using Wool Dryer Balls for all my laundry needs.

Great dryer balls!!
My husband doesn't like the smell from the wrinkle help dryer sheets I've used for years, so I decided to try these dryer ball, which have no odor at all.. These dryer balls were very well priced, and make such a difference in the amount of time it takes to dry my clothes. They also help with wrinkles and cat hair, making each pretty much nonexistent. Will definitely reorder these when needing more!

These are GREAT
I got these a couple of days ago and used them today for the first time. I washed a quilt and dried it with them and they were just fine. Then I washed two pillows and used the wool balls drying them. The pillows were absolutely dry and extremely well plumped in very little time. I didn't realize anything would work so well and can't believe it took me so long to get these. They're wonderful and I highly recommend them. Also, if they arrive dented because they were sent in an envelope it's easy to fix them.

Environmentally sound
I am using these now with a clean linen scented oil in place of dryer sheets. I feel good about lessening my environmental footprint whenever possible. They work well, no static cling out of the dryer but I see no savings in drying time. Since reducing dryer time wasn't really my objective, I am happy buying no more disposable dryer sheets.

Dryer Balls soften but leave static
They were ok for softening laundry but I've tried them twice now and the static is a big problem. I'll try it with spritzing them first and will update my review at a later time. But at this time, I'm not happy with the static left in my dried laundry.

Love the wool dryer balls...
I have a fairly large washer and dryer, and have been trying very hard to cut down on the chemicals that I seem to be using, anyway I now use the the laundry eco strips for washing...I like them. Then I found the wool balls just do a great job.I no longer use softener or dryer sheets. They just look after the static from the dryer and everything is nice and soft. I use 3 or 4 balls in each load and is good on pet fur. Good for the environment and knocks out the plastic jugs and very little sound when the dryer is running. Now I wait and see how long they last..no signs of usage at all yet... Really satisfied

Works!
Ok these are super cute. Trying to step away from VOC's and this is step one in removing dryer sheets. Seem to work well but the winter months will be the true test due to static electricity. As it is, keep in mind that your ssryer is gonna sound loud from these banging around. Something I hadn't thought of.

Love These!!!!!
Decided to stop using dryer sheets since I kept hearing they do damage to both your clothes & dryer. So figured I would give these a shot, and I am so happy I did. It has cut the dry time almost in half & they are saving me money not having to buy dryer sheets. Only down side is that my laundry tends to be very staticky, so I need to find a solution for that. But small price to pay in my opinion.
