Simple ! It works and I love it
Ok ! You look at the initial price and think how much. Depending on how you use it and Look after it depends on how long it lasts .You have to have a soap tray that drains .The one in my picture is ethique own and is perfect for the job and will last for years and incredibly it is compostable. The product leaves my skin clean, soft and undried as this is soap free which also means no skum all over the bath/ shower. It lathers up great .You can use it all over your body which I do but will obviously not last as long .I get about a month but just using on the face will last alot longer which then makes the price even better ...At the end of the day no waste and no plastic ! Feels Good

Works brilliantly and lasts forever
I love this so much! I have super dry skin so was a little worried, but my skin has got on great with it. You honestly only need the tiniest amount to take off all waterproof makeup, although I often use more than I need to have that lovely foamy sudsy feel on my skin.Normally I wash my face, and either scrape off a tiny bit with my fingernail to massage in, or just slide the cube across my cheeks and lather up.When it arrived I cut the block into 4 cubes, keeping the box in the bathroom cupboard and working my way through one cube at a time. In five months I've only just used half of it, and I'm using it at least once, every single day. So you're saving money and the planet! My skin has been far clearer too, but I also introduced some new serums around the same time, so I can't say how much this has contributed by itself.Either way, I highly recommend!

Not drying at all
This is great, I have very dry skin and was a bit apprehensive about trying out a facial soap, but I'm trying to reduce my use of plastic. This soap is lovely, leaves my skin nice and soft and takes off all my makeup without drying it out. I've cut it into 4 chunks so that I use one bit at a time and it doesn't get soggy and mucky and it looks like it will last for ages. I just let it dry out and keep it in a small tupperware pot for when I travel.

Better than Clinique
I prefer this to my Clinique. Need I say more? It has cleared my monthly spot zone so I feel less like a teenager. I even managed to part with a bit to give to my son to use. The trick to stop it going mushy is not to get it too wet. Wet your face, rub a bit of the soap straight on. Massage soap in and rinse. Tada. Then then put the soap away somewhere not too steamy.

Lasts forever
I was slightly underwhelmed at first when I saw the size of it for the price but I have been pleasantly surprised with this. It lightly foams up, is gentle on my skin, will last a very long time and is not heavily scented. Will buy again....when it runs out in about 10 years.

Dove bar does same job and is cheaper
Was hoping it would clean make up but it doesn’t really. A dove soap bar works just as well and is waaaaaaay cheaper. Wouldn’t buy again.

Came wrapped in plastic! And be warned, these are shipped from New Zealand!
I bought 3 Ethique products - not cheap but wanted to invest in no-plastic products and start making the switch. 2 arrived wrapped in non-recyclable plastic!!!! When I tried to contact Ethique to complain, I found that despite the .co.uk website (which I had checked in advance of ordering), all the contacts are in New Zealand! My 'eco' products had been shipped from the furthest possible place on the planet, then wrapped in plastic before being delivered to me. My investment was pointless! I'm furious. Such a shame. So unnecessary. I haven't tried the products yet - how can I enjoy them now? But if, like me, your motivation for trying them is reducing environmental damage and trying to minimise impact on global warming, it probably won't matter to you how wonderful the products are.
