Great thermometer
I love this thermometer! It's lightweight and comfortable to hold. Easy and no fuss operation. The tip is rounded perfectly so you don't poke the little ones under the tongue or arm when trying to take their temperature. Also comes with a little clear case to keep the thermometer protected from getting messed up! Purchase price is wonderful and worth the purchase!

I use this item to take rectal temperature of cattle in the field and thus far it has proven to work amazingly. It produces a temperature in a relatively short period of time compared to other small thermometers I have used in the past, has a semi-flexible tip that does not seem flimsy but also wont snap, and cleans very easily. For what I used it for, it obviously get very gross very quickly. It wipes clean for the most part and what does not wipe off is washed off very easily. It does not seem to have any issues after being washed and covered in copious amounts of feces and dirt.

Nice thermometer. Works in about 30 seconds as advertised. Got a nice e-mail with enhanced instructions from the distributor.Update 12/17: battery died. Uses an oddball harder to find battery (AG3). How about an LR44 or other common battery?

Follow instructions.
Excellent product but you have to read the instructions carefully to get an accurate temperature. My first readings were too low. The Company emailed additional instructions such as waiting to turn the thermometer on until it is in your mouth and repeated that you may have to keep your mouth closed for 5 minutes before taking your temperature. Following those directions, I got accurate (compared to my mercury thermometer) and consistent readings.
