To my uneducated palate , one Niko brand matches the others , regardless of price . Mid afternoon tea ceremony now a family fixture .

Great Sirilankan tea

Not the same product - BOP rather than OP
I've bought this product on two previous occasions and been very pleased with it. It was OP quality i.e. whole leaves. I've also bought other variants from Niko which have been good quality.Unfortunately what was delivered this time was BOP i.e. Broken Orange Pekoe - cut leaves.The sellers (Niko) do say in product description "As we use Whole Leaf and Large Particles of Loose tea it gives a Better Brew" - which of course implies they could ship either OP or BOP.I've shown in the pictures the latest packet and some of its contents and in the other photo the tea from the previous packet on the left and the new packet on the right.I've not tasted the new tea yet and I'm sure I won't be that disappointed but its important to know when quality changes like this.I can't be bothered to send the product back on this occasion, but I hope it's just a blip and not a trend.

Lovely taste at a lovely price !!
Really nice flavour of my favourite tea.It's all single estate, so it tastes the same from start to finish, and what a taste !!The price is also prety amazing for orange pekoe, and yes, it's Ceylon tea, so it takes a little more than ordinary black tea to get the colour most people expect. THe truth is that it tastes strong even when it looks so pale ... beautiful tea and a great price.

Proper loose leaf tea
Good large leaf tea for a teapot, not like the dust you find in the supermarket. Not too strong, that's how I like it.
