As Seen on TV
I remember seeing the commercials for these on TV. Then they pretty much disappeared. I have no idea the reason for that. But I saw that Amazon was selling them as I had a couple of projects that I would have liked to try it on. Finally, I saw this on Amazon and ordered one. I used it for one thing. A plastic lid for a bowl that had cracked and a replacement was not to be found. The lid was large so I took a lot of material to fix the crack. Of course, it doesn't look as good had they used it for a commercial and the material doesn't get hard. It stays a little flexible. I am not sure at this point in time if that is a good thing or not but I did repair the lid. And like the commercial says, it remains workable until you apply the infrared light.

So far so good
Used this to repair a heavy part on an outdoor metal wether vane. I glued around the ends of the broken arrow, cured the glue with the UV light and repeated the procedure. It’s been only a couple of weeks out in the weather but so far it’s holding up just fine.

Amazing stuff. Saved me $70 by repairing a BMW part
A latch on my BMW center console broke into several pieces (see the first photo). It was going to cost over $70 to replace, but I couldn't find a dealer with an inventory of the part until around the end of this year. I had tried "super glues" and the pieces quickly broke again. I found this product in a ZDNet recommendation and tried it, and it was able to repair the part to working shape! It's very easy to use, and I applied several layers to bulk up the material so it would hold. So far I don't see any negative with the product.

Brought my Dyson back to life
THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. I didn’t know what to expect but now I feel like I can fix anything and will definitely keep this as a staple household item. Other reviews mentioned leaking during shipping but mine came inside a cardboard sleeve to protect it, so there wasn’t any issue. The application as really quick and easy and it cures SUPER strong. I was done in 20 mins. I also like that I can sand and paint it if I want to make it look nicer in the future!I found a cordless Dyson for $10 because it was cracked and this fixed it right up. I was a little worried the gap would be too large and it wouldn’t work but the glue is slightly thick to help keep it from dripping down into the gap.I now have a very nice vacuum for a steal. Thank you!!

I wish I knew about this awesome glue years ago!
I'm about to sound like one of those late night TV infomercials. I read about this product in a blog I follow. Am I the last person to know about UV Light glue instead of Krazy Glue?It works like they say - I just used it on 2 different things. It cures in literally seconds. I probably used too much. It isn't messy at all. None of the stuck fingers and tackiness with other adhesives and glues. It is incredibly easy to apply and use.But wait, that's not all. There's more! The real differentiation was to reinforce both items I was repairing. It doesn't just act as an adhesive. It was like a caulk to fill in for some of the plastic that broke away, and add to the sides of the items to make them, in theory, stronger. Now I want to break things to fix them. 🤣

Worked great once refilled.
Most of glue leaked out of pen in package. The refill was enough for my project. Worked great.

It Really Works
I love this glue! It works wonderfully on everything I used it on except for an area where the light could not get to. This worked on items that I had glued previously that did not hold. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will be ordering again.

Product seems to work AS Advertised. At $300+ Dollars per ounce, one would hope so !
Light duty, disparate materials Test.

There is a learning curve here. Perseverance required. Later Edit - good product
I broke the leg of my reading glasses. All plastic, so no obvious way to repair. I tried "Gorilla Glue", my "go-to" solution for most things. No go. I had read about this UV set glue and I had seen it in use replacing a displaced tooth crown. I gave it a go, and prices have dropped from earlier.First attempt failed. You apply the glue; but the two pieces together and zap with UV. Setting is near-instant, but there is no structural integrity in the joint. So I built it up a little around the joint next attempt. Better, but still failed quickly. So I took the major rebuild route and effectively doubled the thickness of the leg at and around the joint, zapping as I progressed. (Oh, and I sanded everything in advance.) You know what? It is not bad! Ugly, yes! but that bit is behind my ugly ear, in situ, so who cares? Will it last? Time will tell... I will update.Edit Update: Well, a month on, my repair is still holding. Then, I broke my other reading glasses! (No idea why my wife says I am tough on eyeglasses?) This time, the soldering gave way, where the frame is soldered to the lens holder. I reattached the frame with UV glue, then built up the repair on top (see photo). This is a much neater job, except I had to sand the contact areas for adhesion. Becoming impressed with this product and upped rating to 4*.

Disappointed.
I was optimistic when this product arrived, I've used similar adhesives before and they are perfect as you can apply the glue, spend time positioning and once ready use the U.V light to set it. This product does exactly that hence the 2 stars, however I am feeling extremely ripped off as there was only enough glue in the tube to do a 3mm crack and the refill bottle that comes with it was completely empty, no sign that it had leaked out, rather it looked like it had been used and re packed as the seal was broken and the label was faded.. so all in all I'm not happy and would not recommend this utter waste of money. Fair to say in future I will spend a few extra quid and at least get my moneys worth..

It does the job. Period.
I was a bit sceptical first and was thinking to buy it for this price but have to admit it exceeded my expectations and they were high. It worth every penny. This is what a superglue supposed to look like. You clean the surfaces or keep them clean as usual, apply the glue. You have plenty of time then to position the materials as it will not set until the UV light is on. No need extra pressure just keep the item together, apply the light for a few seconds and basically that's it. Ready to go. I mostly use it to fix broken toys which standard superglue won't keep together.

Perfect fix for small items.
This is way easier to use than conventional super glue. The glue only solidifies after exposure to UV light which means there is a time window to fix the errors while applying the glue. The only down side is that this particular glue has a very small tube opening which means it would be difficult to apply to a large surface. I'd recommend this product if the crack to be fixed is less than 5 cm long.

High hopes for this product, only for those to be dashed
This product is absolutely USELESS! So first of all I think the concept is a great one, saves on glues hardening in their tube or tin.I tried this on plastic 2 plastic, plastic 2 acrylic, acrylic 2 acrylic and metal 2 metal. The application was straight forward and the light soon hardened the outer layer cutting down on mess. Had it actually STUCK the items together I would be giving this little stick 5 stars, but I am not.The product does take a lot longer than a quick blast of a UV light to work, secondly I am pretty sure I was taught at uni that UV was in the invisible spectrum, and there are LEDs that operate in that frequency range, this one is visible so is in the near UV frequency and probably is impacting on the curing. So leaving it to cure longer in sunlight is a must. It does harden, but it doesn't bond anything together, it is more like a plaster over a cut if that is all I wanted to do I would have used tape. The smallest torsion or torque on the materials is enough for the two parts to separate from each other.Sticking breeze blocks to the outside of your house and standing on it once the light has been shone over it for a few seconds and expecting it to take your weight this product is NOT. (And yes I know that is the advert for another brand of product similar to this one, this product can't even take the strain of two fingers applying pressure to 'bonded' materials.)
