Very worth for value

As a family of Octonauts fans, who like stories of the deep, this is brilliant. It is also a great size for the plastic Dashi toys to fit in the mouth/filter, so we can now reenact the relevant Octonauts episode! (Although it’s possible I’m confusing whale sharks with basking sharks there, I admit I haven’t checked).In addition to all that fun, this is well made. It’s a good quality fur, lovely cuddly foam, and it's a good size for my four year old to cuddle against his torso. Soft and fluffy and lovely. The gills are sewn straight lines and the eyes are also embroidered, so there are no hard bits to get dislodged, or snag, or leave marks when slept against. This toy could happily be left with a baby.The top surface is a lovely spotted dark teal, which the light catches or misses depending on the angle- quite appropriate for a sea creature. It’s like it almost shimmers, but the effect is just due to the angle of the fur fibres. It’s quite enchanting and makes it surprisingly nice just to look at.I'm not sure if it’s totally anatomically correct, but it looks appropriately finned to me. It’s a toy of a quality that could justify the stamp of the Natural History Museum, whose dinosaur toys are very high quality, so that’s a compliment.It's not a normal choice for a stuffed toy creature, but it is a lovely one. I wish the same company did a stuffed crab too!

We chose this cute and cuddly Whale shark for my Nephews 1st Birthday. Its so so soft, a beautiful teal colour. The eyes and gills are beautifully stitched so we feel safe knowing that parts will not fall off. This is so beautiful he is going to love it. The price is on the high side at £15.80 and we think this will sell better at around £9.99.

I got this as a present for my friend who's just had a little boy.It was smaller than I thought it would be when it arrived but it's actually a nice size for a toddler or smaller child. The shark is super soft and filled well so it's nice to hold.There are no plastic eyes to worry about as these eyes are embroidered on.Overall this shark toy would make a lovely present for any child, the price is a little high but then again it is good quality.
