This lotion is somewhat greasy and has an oddly sweet fragrance with floral notes. It has a lot of weird ingredients that could irritate a baby's skin or provoke an allergic reaction, for instance, ginger, lavender, and other floral extracts along with a bunch of chemicals such as sodium polyacrylate, butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, etc. Those might be okay for regular lotions but this one is called "Earth Baby" and is supposedly "hypoallergenic for sensitive skin, natural and organic" and "organic goodness from mother earth".There are actually only three organic ingredients: aloe juice, safflower oleosomes, and lavender extract. I feel very much deceived by the huge gap between the claims of being natural and organic and the reality of the ingredients.

I ordered this Earth Baby Moisturizing Lotion for my 9 year old daughter. She gets very dry hands during the winter months, and I feel better when she uses a more natural lotion like this with no scary chemicals. This is rich and thick, and it only takes a small amount for her to rub into her hands. It does squirt out easier than what I would have thought, so be careful with that. It absorbs well, and my daughter doesn't complain about greasiness like she does with some other lotions we've tried.The scent is a little odd, but not bad. I can smell lavender, honeysuckle, and something my nose can't identify. My daughter said that it smells a little like chocolate, and she likes it. The scent isn't that strong though, and I much prefer it to the artificial scents that many lotions have.

Soothing Aloe leaf juice is the first ingredient on the label of this tube of Earth Baby Moisturizing Lotion and cocoa seed butter is fifth. There are many components in this moisturizer but perhaps it is more important what isn’t in the formula. It is paraben, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, mineral oil and petrolatum-free and it also avoids a number of other concerning ingredients.Additionally, it is hypoallergenic, uses no artificial colors and the product is cruelty-free. The consistency is a light cream—not a runny lotion so it stays where placed and it is absorbed promptly leaving no sticky or greasy residue. My only quibble is the fragrance which is mild but I am not a fan.

This is a really nice lotion you could feel the aloe in it and it's moisturizing properties. it's great for sensitive skin (like for babies and and young kids) it's gentle and absorbs well. I love that the ingredients are organic, natural and free of harmful ingredients. This bottle does not specify a scent, and it is a little odd smelling. Its not BAD but definitely does not smell good to me.. kind of almost reminds me of natural bug spray, so I'm wondering if they have any other kinds of lotion?

Two issues with this lotion. The first issue is that it did not come with any sort of safety seal whatsoever. No shrink wrapped plastic over the outer lid and no pealable seal when you take the lid off so anyone could put something in this. Despite this safety concern, I did decide to put a small amount on my leg and not only did it not make my skin soft, the odor of this lotion is terrible and strong. It's kind of like a cross between herbs and wild flowers and something else, I don:t know what. This odor is powerful. I would never use this on myself other than to test it to write this review and I absolutely would never put this on a child.

This Earth Baby Moisturizing Lotion+ contains no Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Mineral Oil, Propylene glycol, DEA, MEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Triethanolamine, Petrolatum or Lanolin. This is thick and rich. All you need is just a little and it covers a large area. It soaks in quickly. It makes the skin so soft. It feels like it leaves a barrier protecting the skin. I love this lotion. I wish it came in large tubs. It really helped to smooth out my cracked hands. They feel so much better now. Plus this is made from healthy ingredients. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I love the natural scent of this Earth Baby Moisturizing Lotion! The lotion itself is the consistency where it's not super thick but not runny either. My son has really bad eczema so I have to use a lot on him to get the moisturizing he needs for his dry spots.The Earth Baby soaps are very drying, so this lotion helps bring the moisture lost after washing them with it. I would say if you child doesn't suffer from any skin conditions this should work well for you.

I am very pleased with this baby lotion. My daughter suffers from eczema and has very sensitive skin. I love that it’s all natural and organic ingredients, and also because it’s hypoallergenic so it works great on her sensitive skin. The scent is light and the lotion is thick and creamy... a little goes a long way. Very nice product!
