Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Lunch Worm Fishing Soft Bait

Was turned on to these by a semi pro bass fisherman I bumped into while out at the lake. I've used weightless, texas rig, weedless, etc and they definitely attract fish of all sizes. Only down fall is they also attract sunfish and pickerel, lol, and they keep biting off the tail.

The media could not be loaded. Living right on a giant fish sanctuary, makes it very easy to go see how they respond to artificial lures.Digging these worms.Weightless rig and crawl 'em through the lilypads... Oh YeaH!

I don't know what it is about this bait, but it is just not very effective. I have used the king tail worm, and have had lots of success with it. They are basically the same bait just one is smaller. I have went through nearly 2 packs of these without a single bite. And, while the durability of these max scent baits is horrible, that's still a lot of casts without a single bite. Can't really say that it's the smaller size which is turning fish off, because I have caught plenty of decent bass on the 4" general. Just can't figure out what the problem is, so I see no reason for these to be sucking up space in my tackle bag. Done with them.

I like these a lot. I caught not only Bass on these, but Catfish as well. I like them a lot. Will buy these baits again.

I caught so many fish on this bait in 2019. Starting 2020 with this bait. Love this color because It's easy to see when pulling it across submerged timber. I'm not a pro, but there were few days that made me feel like one. Awesomeness..

I bought the lunch worms in green pumpkin and dark purple. I rig these up as weedless Texas rigs with offset hooks.These are so brittle they only last a few casts before they rip in half, where the tail tapers inward. I have had several that only lasted 3 casts. A fish strike, cast that gets caught in seaweed, or cast in the weeds will make these rip right apart. My $1 per pack Wally World softbaits outlast these exponentially.For the price you pay for these, they are a joke.
