Cryptograms #2: 250 Humorous LARGE PRINT Cryptoquote Puzzles

You know what I mean...you try to find a good cryptogram book, but the font is visually unappealing or hard to read, and the spacing doesn't give you enough room to work the puzzle, but you just buy it anyway, simply because there's nothing else better out there.Guess what - there IS something better. Honestly, this book has what you're looking for in terms of visuals, style, and enough challenge that you feel you've accomplished a hard task when you're through. This book works for all ages, and sets the bar high for puzzle books. You won't be disappointed with your purchase!

It is a humorous challenging puzzle book. I bought the Large print edition. It does have answers and some hints. It will take me awhile to finish the book since I am new to this.I recommend this book for all.

The type is not really large-it’s huge! No glasses necessary to do this book. Plenty of room to write answers. It’s hard enough to challenge you but not too hard for frustration. I’ve been doing cryptograms for a few years in our daily newspaper, so I do have the hang of it. There are clues in the back if needed, but I haven’t gone there yet. I bought #1 and #2. Currently a short ways into #1 and am really enjoying it. Bought it to take on a trip—hope I can put it down and save some for my travels.

This should best be described as a book for the blind. The print is so HUGE that a single cryptogram that should be 1 of 3 or maybe 4 on a page takes up almost the entire page. The print is so large that it is impossible to read.This is further complicated by the fact that it is a large book at 8.5" x 11". It also is not spiral bound which means the pages do not lie flat, making it hard to write on.Given the large number of other books available (I've bought a couple with very good results), I would not recommend this one unless your vision is 5/50 versus 20/20.Being environmently friendly, it is now resting peacefully in the recycling bin.

I try every morning to exercise my mind. What better way to do this than to work on the Cryptograms #2 puzzle book? Not only is it thought-provoking, but it is fun to read some of the funny quotes people have said. Thank you, Jack Merrin for offering us this fun and "puzzling" book. Keep them coming.

This isn't a top winner for me, but overall okay. I'm not doing them to win a contest or anything--and I'm not above cheating, which is what I've done on occasion, as some of the quotes are just weird. Overall, it helps to pass time, and keep my brain from going dormant.

I am very very happy with my new puzzle book. i use the puzzles to entertain myself and keep my mind calm. I especially like this book because when I solve the puzzles I enjoy the messages. Great job, well done.

The print is way too large for me. I have other large print cryptogram books that have a more reasonable size that are easier to work with. And some of the cryptograms are really short, not enough words to figure out patterns.I like that there Are 2 hint sections.
