Paul Mitchell Twirl Around Cream Serum, Frizz Control, Touchable Hold, For Curly + Wavy Hair, 5.1 fl oz

This is the best curl cream I have ever used and I have tried a ton. My new hairstylist told me to try it and that it would not fail me. Well he was right!!!!I have been using it for over 6 months and it really holds my curls and definition until wash day. I wash my hair twice a week. To keep it fresh in between washes I just spray with water and scrunch and the curls pop up right away.

this product is rich and can spread a lot through one squirt on the hand, rub your hands together and pat on the hair and then rub through or press through. If you have to you just patch your hair and press a little bit then if you want to you can use your hands and spread it through your hair and this way you’ll tell if you need more depending on the length of your hair and the conditions of your dry ends, but I found this being used in my salon when I went to get my hair done and it gave very good results and the more you use it the nicer the hair is and I also use a silk bonnet to sleep in that helps smooth down the frizzies.

I have naturally wavy hair, not quite truly curly, and this product works beautifully to style it and cut down on the frizzy factor. A nice combination of gel and mousse. Works best for me to apply to wet hair and I let it dry naturally. Then brush it when it is halfway dry.

The only product I’ve ever tried that I can wash my hair in the evening, and let air dry completely with ZERO crunchiness! Just super soft and shiny curls. 🙌🏻 Very lightweight hold, but helps to shape and hydrate. Scent is very neutral and once it’s dry I can’t smell it at all. It only takes a very small amount (I made the mistake of using too much not too long ago, and it made my hair feel dirty 🫤)…so less is more.

So I do really, really like this product. It gives my curls definition without the awful crunch of gel. The problem is the product is inconsistent. I think it might have to do with age. So the first time I used this it was perfect. Worked easily into my hair, no visible residue. I was in love. The second bottle was just as good. The third bottle produced little tiny globs of white stuff that would not incorporate into my hair. I ended up meticulously picking the globs out. This happened periodically throughout the whole bottle. The fourth bottle was ok with no issues, but this fifth bottle has the same globbing problem. Again, the only thing I can think of is age of the product. Ultimately, I will continue to use this because, frankly, it's fantastic. I think I will start purchasing it from the salon though. Little bit more money, but at least I know I can return it if there is an issue.

I’ve used this for 15-20 yrs. They have changed formula over the years. Doesn’t smell as good as it did when it first came out but that’s alright I suppose. The reason I buy it still does well. I did leave a review on their site complaining about it but they don’t care anyhow. The trick to this stuff is not to use too much, I apply when hair is air drying for about an hour after wash. It doesn’t work very well when my hair is longer, past my shoulders for some reason. It does leave litter white flecks behind but they seem to fade after drying. The original formula never did this. If your hair is the type that all cream or all gel or mousse doesn’t work for you then this should work. That is the reason I bought it when I saw the gel and cream combo and thought why not. I’ve used other creams and curl enhancing items in the past but I’ve ALWAYS come back to this quirky little formula.

First, Paul Mitchell's Twirl Around is a product product. The ONLY reason I gave this one star is that this particular seller sent a bottle of this 'usually awesome product',which is obviously Old as it is quite discolored, w/2 Oily globs, as seen on attached picture. Only one other seller sent the Twirl Around in this same condition in 4 years of using it - I made the mistake of trying to use it anyway - it was very oily & felt awful on my hair. I won't make the same mistake twice - I am returning this & will have to order another bottle - & HOPE that another seller won't try to send an old, non-usable product.I just ran out & ordered a NEW bottle to arrive today, Sept. 8, 2022. I LOVE Paul Mitchell's Twirl Around - when the product is NEW, that is! It is the only product that tames my curly, frizzy hair (especially in humid weather) by giving my hair soft, wavy curls with no crunch, & no frizz, even in humid weather! Will look for another seller.Can't wait to get my new bottle of Paul Mitchell, shortly, I hope. Thank you!
