i have bought it to grow chillies over the winter. It was really simple to set up and start growing. You can't hear the pump, and the light is a nice to use as a side light in a room as your plants grow.

This is an excellent product. I have had it about 3 weeks now and my seeds have just started to sprout.It was really easy to set up, took me about 15 minutes or so. Its not as small as you may think, its around 18 x 12, bigger obviously when the plants are growing so you will need a fair amount of room. I have a small worktop space by the side of my cooker that is 50cm wide so i have put in in there.It comes with a seed kit to get you going which contains Genovese basil (X2), Thai basil, Curly Parsley, Italian Parsley, thyme, chives Dill, Mint, but you can buy different kits for about £15 each.You can buy:Herbs - Red Rubin Basil (tall), Dill (tall), Thyme (short), Chives (tall), Mint (med), Parsley (short), and Globe Basil (short),Lettuce - Green Leaf, Red Leaf, Butterhead, Romaine,Basil - Lemon (tall), Thai (med), Napolitano (tall), Marseilles (French) (tall), Genovese (Italian) (tall), Globe (short) and Red Rubin (med)Chilli Peppers - Jalapeno, Red Fire, Purple Super HotCherry TomatosYou can also use this to grow cuttings from any of your favourite plants. My favourite every plant is Erysimum Bowles Mauve and i plan on cultivating cuttings to plant in my garden in the spring. Its a fantastic way to do it if you dont have a Greenhouse or Shed. All you need is the grow sponges and it does the work for you.It may be expensive, but the tech is seriously impressive, designed by Nasa to allow astronauts to grow plants in space without soil, this is extremely clever and ideal for anyone that would like to grow plants but are not green fingered.The only negative i can say, although it doesnt detract from my score, is that whilst the usa website is amazing, you can buy 62 different seed kits, the uk site is rubbish, and you can only buy 6 different seed kits and they are all out of stock, as well as the replacement sponges which is disappointing.

This is my second aero garden bounty they are great I now use both . tomatoes and q'sGrow well as do herbs and lettuce. Would really recommend one.

Excellent results, after a month all plants are germinated with an excellent result.

This unit its an old version of the device and not include Wi Fi.

Despite my best endeavours, the only herb I appear to manage to keep alive outside is rosemary, which is almost impossible to kill (my family told me with delight when I proclaimed I'd finally managed to keep some herbs alive).I don't have any window space to speak of to scatter around pots of herbs, and had been told about how good the Aerogrow was, so I was excited to review this.It comes in a safe and sturdy box and packaging, so if you are worried about the product arriving to you intact, don't be. The instructions are on the top of the box, clear to read, and easy to follow. So far so good.I waited so long to post my review as I wanted to make sure things actually grew (because curse). It does! It's amazing! It's as simple as putting in water and adding in the preseeded pod thingers provided with the aerogrow. I like the vertical height which gives plenty of space for growth. I'm amazed, slightly in love, and would recommend this to any budding gardeners who, like me, despaired at ever successfully growing anything.(I have a smart meter for electricity also and there is minimal impact of this on my bills if that also helps!)
