The Bust A Cap is a one-of-a-kind one-of-a-kind device that attaches to your existing flashlight or baton and gives you a tactical advantage to break glass. Bust A Cap is a rapid entry tool that was designed by a 13-year veteran of one of the largest Sheriffs Departments in the United States. This device is being utilized by law enforcement, fire departments, government agencies, private security and civilians around the world, giving them a tactical and safe entry or exit out of an automobile, house, boat or plane. Replace the existing cap on your flashlight or baton with a new Bust A Cap device. It is now ready when you are. The cap is manufactured in the United States and made from special steel, installs in less than a minute, requires no training and will break glass with one tap. Bust A Cap can save your life and the lives of others. If you carry the Poly Stinger or the Stinger LED, you know the size of these flashlights vary depending on the model. There is no way you can break a window with these flashlights without causing damage to your expensive light or injuring someone from flying glass. Attaching Bust A Cap to your flashlight will insure that it will break glass and not damage your equipment.

An Excellent First Responder must have if you carry Streamlight.
Works like a charm. Have one on my Ultrastinger and busting a window is effortless and works on first strike, unlike trying to use an asp. Always have my flashlight near me in my unit during the day and always have it on me at night. I have used this multiple times without fail, or trouble.

Like butter.
Cuts through car windows like butter. Stop trying the asp, the flashlight, or the sidearm. This works great. Wear gloves. Keep it away from tile, granite countertops- the oops can be expensive.

Just got it today and I'm impressed on how well it fits my Streamlight Stinger. I had the DS LED but the tail switch went bad. I replaced with a new Streamlight tail switch and it too went bad after a few weeks of law enforcement use. I needed something more durable and wanted to get rid of the tail switch since it kept going bad and making the light come on randomly depleting my battery and I found this "bust a cap". It's very well constructed and looks like it was made for my light. I haven't tried it out breaking glass yet but I think it now doubles as a good impact weapon too!

great product works as advertised and as other reviewers describe two things to note you dont need any extra spring if you are getting it for the stinger and it totally does add weight. as far as measurements i had the dual switch which made the total stinger length just shy of 9 inches putting the cap on shortened the length of the light by only about an 8th of an inch

Perfect Product!!!!
An amazing product. I am a Police Officer and recently needed a glass breaker, but did not have one. I thought about buying a pocket knife with a glass breaker, but seem to always misplace my knives. As an Officer on night shift, I always carry my flashlight. Now, I will always have a glass breaker handy when needed. I also went to a junk yard and got permission to test it out. Product works amazingly, and takes very little effort to use. In fact, the tow truck driver is going to purchase one for himself. There is no noticeable difference in fit in my flashlight holder. The only con that I could think of would be if you use your tail switch, which I never did.

Like a charm
I have had this little guy on my stinger for several months now. I was immediately impressed with the small amount of added weight it gave my light. I felt that if worse comes to worse then it gives a little extra womp if I had to use my light as an impact weapon. I finally got a chance the other night to use it as intended. A medic had already struck a car window a few times with his stinger and the window was winning the battle. I handed him mine and one tap with this glass breaker and the window shattered....almost explosively. Works like a charm.

Breaks windows with ease.
I've broken both car windows and double-paned apartment door windows with this cap with very little effort.

I like it!
I bet this could go through just about any car window however the only down fall is that when you charge it, the charging device will tip over due to the weight of the window breaker
