We purchased these snow boots for our boys as they have never really had a need for true snow boots before. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg knowing they would grow out of them before next year. I was lucky in my timing that we ordered these and they arrived a day before we got 8" of snow!A few things to note:- They are faux fur lined which helps tremendously in their softness and warmth- The buckles are functional, but just for show. They do not actually tighten or loosen the boot.- The buckles are on a panel of velcro closure for easy on/offI ordered what I believed to be sizes larger than my boys wear to account for thick socks and to hopefully get an extra year's use out of them.I ordered 11.5 for my toddler who wears 10/10.5 in sneakers and I ordered 1.5 for my older son who wears a size 13.5 in sneakers.Both of them fit like a glove!We won't be able to wear these again next year, but they work great for now. I'd say size one full size up for current wear and size up 1.5/2 times for longevity.We love them. Played in 8" snow for hours and hours. They never once complained of cold feet and they stayed bone dry.Would highly recommend and will be ordering again in the future!

Lightweight and very comfortable. My daughter, the original tom-boy, played hard in them all winter and they still look new. She says they're very cushiony and have great traction too. They also kept her feet very dry and warm.Jan 11, 2019 cont...She's still wearing these, and probably will be until she outgrows them! Tread stayed fastened to material, no rips or snags. Still keeping her feet warm and dry and comfy. Frankly, they STILL look new!I might add that she's got super high arches and we keep inserts in her shoes for support, but don't need any in these little boots.Do yourself a favor and get a pair. You won't be disappointed.

Warm, waterproof, comfortable, and very nice looking boots. Initially the metal ice grip, which folds out for use and folds back up flat when not in use, seemed a great idea. It is however, not stainless steel, and rusts. Should your child forget to leave their boots on an old towel, it will leave rust marks on the floor. This is the only reason I would not leave five stars. All in all, I do recommend these boots.

First off, these are great boots as far as comfort and design. They fit my son great and he says they are super comfy. But what's up with the weird woman figure on the boots? Honestly, it's super creepy. Just beware, some weird figure may appear on the boots you buy from this company. They get 1 star for bad customer service when I contacted them about the woman on the boots. I'm returning these. I won't purchase again from this company.

We have had these boots (hobibear) for 1.5 months and they holes in the soles. The tread looks nice and thick but it’s hollow, so any wear results in a hole clear through to the liner. It’s the strangest thing I have ever seen. I’ve attached pictures. You can see there is very little wear but it opens right up to a hollow base. I would definitely not recommend these boots.

My 7 y/o is hard on shoes/boots and his feet are growing so fast that I have to buy new boots every year so I hate spending a lot on boots for him. These are a good price, a good fit and certainly good enough quality to get us through another long winter here in Salt Lake City! He wears 1.5 little kid shoes right now and that's what size I bought in these boots. They fit just as expected and unlike some snow boots, they're mercifully easy to put on! They're nothing fancy, but they seem warm, well made and waterproof, so what more could you want!? I can definitely recommend. And yes I paid full price for them.

My 9 yr old son loves his new boots, he thinks the colors are super and they fit great (note: he's a 5 and I ordered 5 1/2 basing on the reviews, good call, for thicker winter socks). They kept him warm in the 15 degree weather today and the MOST IMPORTANT THING - he absolutely loves the fold out ice grips, which aren't even mentioned in the product description but should be - that's a huge selling point to kids, who like extra little gadgets like that and one-upping their friend's boots with them!

I was concerned about the material upon opening the product. Our son is a rough and tumble type of 6 year old boy. He is rough on these during recess and other outdoor play. They are holding up even as I'm having to use a damp cloth to clean them multiple times during the week. They are also easy to put on, but they are actually staying on his feet as he plays. That's a big plus in our household. We would purchase these boots again.
