Auto Club Hero has amazing customer service and that's the reason for one of the stars. They answered my questions here and elsewhere in a short amount of time and were willing to go the extra mile to do so. Kudos to them for that.This is the most complete vehicle survival kit I could find. I added a few items of my own, but for the most part this kit checked all the boxes. Some of the items are somewhat cheap in the kit. The waterproof storage container (the orange tube in the picture), the compass fell off in about three seconds. I didn't mind because there is little chance I would be using the item for orienteering any day soon, so I ignored that fact. The multi-tool isn't the cheapest I've seen, but it ain't the best. I imagine it'll do okay in a pinch, but you won't be overhauling engines with it. The first-aid kit is also a little lacking. It covers the bare basics and that's it. Adding to it is a good call.I pulled out the headlamp because I keep a crank-powered flashlight in the car instead of trying to remember to replace batteries all the time. I have actually used the headlamp a few times around the the house. It works just fine and the light is pretty bright.The bag is a little thin, but I think it might hold up. I ended up replacing it with something else because I needed more room. There's a little room left over in the original bag, but not much.All in all, it's not a bad kit and it certainly would benefit from some additions. I want to say that the price is a little high, but when you consider all you're getting, I might be wrong. I would definitely recommend shopping around for one that fits your needs. Or better yet, build one that meets your needs and ensure you are getting quality equipment.

Not every kit is the same. The first one had lower gauge cables than advertised and didnt have a couple other items at all but otherwise I was impressed by the quality. The second one I ordered had a few additional small items, still missing the other stuff listed in amazon discription, gauge on cables was right I think but no bag for them, and I wasn't impressed by the quality of several other items in the bag. The pliers smelled strongly of grease and the handles were glued with gorilla glue. I was pleased with the first one and if I hadn't have ordered a second I would have given it 5 stars...

If you worry about breaking down on the side of the road. Buy this kit. I purchased two so both my vehicles would have them. All items are neatly packaged. this kit is all you would need in a emergency. Or at least until help could arrive. It has all items to fix the most common breakdowns on vehicles. It also has safety gear. It also has basic survival gear. I also purchased two fire extinguishers.i like th first alert tundra spray extinguishers.

I live in an area with severe winters and it’s good to know that if I slide in a ditch during a blizzard or have some other mishap I’m prepared.

Got this for my husband's SUV and he seemed to really like it. Lots of stuff. Hopefully things you never need but so essential if you do. Loved the tow rope, flashlight....well too many things to mention. We didn't think anything was cheaply made. Not something that can just go under the seat in terms of size but will sit in the back fine. I got the product quickly and well packaged and good customer support from the seller.

What an outstanding kit. It is a little pricey compared to some other kits, but well worth it! It comes with just about anything you need for problems that can come up with your car. I bought one for my 18 year old son and myself. This makes a great gift for any loved one who is on the road a lot. It might ease some of your worries knowing they are prepared.

As a Christmas gift for my son actually he should be writing this review, but in this kit is all the things one needs to have in their car.
