Personal preference, I didn't like how the keychain hung on the ring, so I removed the button (?) from the leather fob (pictured). It was difficult to remove, the keychain is remarkably well-made, but it does not hang so oddly from the ring now. None of this is a defect in the product - I highly recommend buying one. In fact, I also ordered a Green Lantern keychain from the same company and am now more anxious to receive it.
