Hanes Sport Performance Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Performance Athletic Shirt, 2-Pack

Bought these for hot weather, sun activities (mowing lawn, walking dogs). Product is very satisfactory thus far, especially at this price point. Have laundered both shirts once (cold water, hang up to dry), and there was no problem. Shirts seem to have sturdy, double-sewn seams. There are seams on the side, for those who might wonder about that. / I live in NW Missouri. Have mowed lawn in this shirt on a sunny 78F day, and found it to be comfortable on the skin (nice, silky texture), and breathable. / Re: size/fit, I bought size L, which is my normal size for a long sleeve T. I am 6', 160 lbs, 35" sleeve. This shirt fits looser than my cotton long sleeve T's (Gildan, Port & Co., etc), but this was expected, and is OK with me. Neck is roomier than those cotton T's. Shoulder fits me OK. Chest is OK. Little loose under armpits, but again, this adds to comfort and breathability on hot days. Also, would allow me to comfortably wear a short sleeve T under this shirt if I was to wear it in cooler conditions.

These are made of brightly colored, quick dry, synthetic fabric that will hopefully stand up to regular use and trips through the laundry. So far, so good. The shirts are lightweight, but do not feel flimsy. Sizing seems about average, if just slightly smaller than other "men's size large". Using these for running where high visibility is needed. They are hard to miss.

The shirts are great. They're lightweight, breathable, and wick moisture away as advertised. They're very comfortable to wear. I borrowed one from my son one day, and ordered some for myself after trying his.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because my shirts arrived with annoying tags sewn into the collars in back. Why? My son's shirts are identical except they have the tag info printed inside just below the collar (like most companies have gone to) instead of the annoying tags that I have to cut off. And then I lose the tag info for future reference. C'mon Hanes, you're better than this.

I ended up buying these because I am of fair complexion and live in a high altitude where I can burn easily while out and about. I like to walk my dogs when I have the summer off, and so I bought these to help protect my arms from the sun. The shirts are very hot to me... I'm not a huge fan of the way they fit, BUT they do what they're supposed to. Protect my skin. They're not extremely tight, but my chest is a little big, so its a tighter fit there, but they fit nicely elsewhere. The material is nice, but not as cooling as I thought it would be. That's okay. Sometimes its better to be a little uncomfortable and safe than be comfortable and unsafe.

I love these shirts, size extra large. I consider them to be near perfect for the purpose I bought them for. In Phoenix and pretty hot summers and these shirts are perfect for keeping the SUN off. They are cool to wear on the 100° plus hot sunny days and seem to not get wet from perspiration. Dry very quickly. I'd give them a 10 overall for summer wear. Its winter here now and I wear a white cotton T-shirt under them. There is room for that. Temperature's in the middle 30's up to the middle 70's right now, I get along to and from work without any coat or jacket, not getting too cool or uncomfortable on the colder days. Wash them in cold water, minimum detergent, and I believe they will last a long time. I do not use a dryer and hang on a hanger and these shirts are dry in about 5 minutes. Sonoran desert dry climate. The fit. Perfect! I'm 5'10" and weigh 220. The cuff of the sleeves is not banded like regular long sleeve T-shirts. Don't like banded sleeves. Length of the sleeves is close to a 33-34 or a bit longer sleeve on a good dress shirt. The neck is very nice in the fit that it is a bit smaller (not snug) and thus stays on the neck without a big stretched out hole up there. The elasticity and comfort is fantastic. You will forget you are wearing a shirt at all. These are my favorite shirts for long sleeve wear. That being said, I have 14 of them. I will be buying more to make sure I have them for the future. Colors are quite vibrant. The orange and safety green are killer. Get compliments on them all the time. Black is deep black and the red is my favorite. Wife loves the blue and pink. No signs of any fading yet. The wife has these shirts in the small size and she loves them as well. You will not be disappointed in any way. At this price point for a 2 pack, Your getting one for free. Don't hesitate. Haynes has a winner in this product. Go Get Em!

I have slowly been accumulating 24 of these shirts in size medium. It's my go to daily shirt since I am fair skinned. When temperatures are cooler, I always wear those costco thin (size small) thin tight fitting thermal under them, or double these if I expect it to warm up substantially. This shirt or those combos have been great for the 15-25 hours a week of biking and hiking I do.I'm 5' 9", 28" waist, and 126-130 lbs depending on time of year. I do not like tight shirts (except a base thermal) and prefer baggy for movement and ability to stuff layers and peal them. You can see from the picture that the Medium drops right below the base of my private area. Arm length is perfect to end of my wristksAlso, if you are concerned about sun/SPF rating, you don't want a tight fitting shirts, as the stretch will exposed more sunlight!On hot days mountain biking or hiking, I wear these in white to stay cooler. They do lose their pure whiteness very quickly from the trails, but to me that's acceptable. I care about sun protection, not looks.These are super easy to wash and dry quickly, and as an athlete I think they perform just as well as the name, expensive brands.I wash them on a regular cycle in cool water and dry medium (do not use softner!!!!!) I tend to way overstuff my loads and have not had any stitching issues, holes, worn out spots, etc even on the ones I bought in 2020 and wash weekly. And, it's a very old washer with the center agitator and 20 year old dryer 🤣. Anyone with issues I think snagged the stitching on something outside the washer, had it snag or brobrush on another item in the washer, or had a defective one. I'm very hard on clothes and they have been awesomeStains like from brushing teeth/drool wash out fine 🤣

The color is very bright. Still getting used to it but the fabric is great.
