Not a good purchase - do not recommend
Worked for about 4 uses and then the power started to be intermittent - cutting on and cutting off and then stopped altogether. No longer coming on. Additionally, when it did work, sometimes I had to rotate the leaves to be vertical to the suction mouth in order for it to pick it up. Not a good purchase - do not recommend.

Stay clear of this lemon
This thing works occasionally and when it does, it's fine. Problem is, it constantly stops working and you have to take it apart to inspect it. Sometimes the problem is apparent, many times it's not. It makes a job that should be 20 minutes take an hour. Complete junk. Frankly, you're better off with a rake.

Didnāt work when used for 2nd time
Heavy, worked first time, second time it didnāt work or turn on. I inquired help with trouble shooting with seller and offered no help. He told me I couldnāt return because it was after 30 days. I told him that I didnāt expect to return it, I know the return policy. I just wanted a little guidance. Very disappointed with product and seller.

Life saver
This yard tool does a great job of picking up and mulching leaves, even the large oak leaves. I can't imagine how many large bags I would have used by now. Its definitely easiest when you rake or blow them into a line than a large pile, either way works but the line seems to keep things from getting clogged at the nozzle end. Stay away from sticks of all sizes as well as pine cones and acorns, the mulcher is not made to deal with them, suck up LEAVES ONLY and you'll be happy you purchased it.

Great job!
I ordered the machine mostly to use as a vacuum and haven't used it as a blower. It looks small and I thought it would be easy for me to handle, but because I am small, it is a little more than I can handle for big jobs. It does a really nice job. I have delegated my husband to be in charge of vacuuming the entryway now. He likes it so much better than the big one we previously had.

DH LOVES THIS!
This vacuum/mulcher really works well while being a lot lighter than some other models. The mulching feature is a boon since all the leaves are broken down and take up less room in our big plastic trash bags (we don't bother using the included cloth bag). You're only limited by the size of your extension cord (not included). This came at a better price than same model at local B/M stores.

The motor on the product seems great. I replMotor is powerful, parts are cheap.
I returned my SunJoe after the second use because, frankly, it is Chinese (cheaply) made. My Yard-Man it was to replace was made in Canada, and sturdy as heck. The plastic on the vacuum tube and wheel kit on SunJoe didn't hold up to even 45 minutes of total use before chipping, the bag and zipper on this unit are also poorly made. I must say, though, I was impressed that SunJoe included two different vacuum bags; one for over the shoulder, and the other attached to the vacuum tube. The stitching was already coming off the rounded bag when I opened the box, so I have to assume they don't do quality inspections. The zipper on something like that needs to be heavier than what they provided. The canvas was also too thin. A lot of dust went right through it.I shipped the SunJoe back and ended up ordering a Worx WG509 Trivac 2. I'd say the bag and zipper on the Worx are perhaps three times better than the SunJoe unit; and you don't have to swap parts to vacuum after blowing. In SunJoe's defense, it has the strongest blower I have used. I have a large plastic panel that I use in my garage. The SunJoe unit will actually pick up that panel and skate it across the floor on a bed of air. The other two units I have can't do that! If the plastic accessories and vacuum bag had been better quality, I would have kept the SunJoe.

Ehh , not much power..
The suction is all that powerful and it only mulches a few handfuls of leaves at a time. Its cumbersome to change from blower to suction. My old one (B&D) worked better and had longer hose. I use my lawnmower to mulch leaves , its easier , faster. And mine stopped working after a few times
