Once you put it on, plan to not take it off unless you modify it first
If you look at the photos of the product, you notice that the tops of these look a bit marred. My guess is that the sellers ran into the same problem I did. The recess circle on the back side of the plate for where the plastic channel liner for the striker pin is at is WAY too deep. This means that if you don't sand down the backside down a bit, you are never ever going to take one of these plates off without using a screw driver and a lot of force. Doing so will damage the plate and if you aren't careful then you will damage your hand as well. I speak from experience as I ended up putting my screw driver through my hand and had to be rushed to the ER because of it. These are made from aluminum and work well enough otherwise. They do look good and do the job well enough once put on.Still if you buy one of these then do this BEFORE you put it on. Get your dremel and sand that back side of the plate down so that the lip is a bare bump that is at most a hair thick. Otherwise don't ever plan to take this thing off in the future with your fingers.

also fits g2c for those that aren't sure
picked it up for my taurus g2c, it dropped right in and fits great.a lot of these are plastic passed off as aluminum. i scratched at the inside with a knife and it is indeed aluminum like the description said.it makes for a hilarious sight picture, so i have a hard time lining up my dots since it's still new to me. hopefully that'll wear off.one funny conversation piece. love it, would recommend.

Needs work but has potential
Straight out of the packaging I was impressed with the plate but like others I had issues with it not locking into place. After some trial and error and a little modification I was able to solve the issue. The dimensions are slightly off from the original plate and the top corners are too squared, preventing the plate from sliding in completely to lock in. After using a file to round off and take down the corners it fits like a glove and is secure. I’ve included some photos in case they can help anyone else having the same issues.

Great little addition to my G3C
Great looking slide cover plate and fits perfectly in my G3C. For me however this wasn't just a visual improvement but also functional. My original polymer slide cover plate did not get locked by the plastic striker guide and all I had to do is pull the plate down. After installing this new item it got locked in place and I actually had to go get my small screwdriver to pull it out. Not sure if this is a g3c thing but all the videos I've seen about replacing the slide cover plate or the plastic striker guide with aluminum show that you have to push the striker guide forward to release the cover. I did not have to do that meaning at any possibility by in time and probably after some wear that cover might slide down and let my striker assembly fly out the back into my eye.

Did not Fit my Glock 19
I really like this Back Plate. However, it did not fit my Glock 19. I just emailed the Seller and hoping for a quick response. My son has ordered several as a gift and all has fit well. Love the product and this was the first that didn't fit. The Seller's Ad says it fits the Glock 19. It's the only reason I gave it a 1 but I will change when the issue is resolved. Thanks again.

Not bad...
It feels more like rubber than aluminum, so I'm not really sure what it's made of, but it looks pretty cool installed. It leaves a bit of a gap at the bottom left on the Taurus G2C 9mm, but it doesn't impede the function at all. So far I'm really happy with it, I'm just concerned about how long it's going to hold up if it's mostly rubber and plastic. I'll update it something changes though.

Fits 19X
It perfectly fits 19x, great quality aluminum, and cool looking cut. One note is that it does not look as shiny as it seems on their promo pictures, whether it looks dull and matte finish, which I like since it does not stand out. Definitely worth the money and recommend to all!

Awesome little slide cover.
Awesome. The finish was a perfect match, went on with very little effort. The only downside is the instructional video was for a Glock only, mine was for a S&W M&P 2.0 45. Mine was actually EASIER to swap out than the Glock model, but wouldn't have known that from the instructional video. Don't hesitate to make this purchase.
