Quietest, easiest grinder I've ever used. My pups gave a nails up.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This little power packed tool has just lifted a huge stress for me in nail trimming for my three dogs. Quietest grinder I've tried. My dogs were much easier to deal with. I had given up on trying my dremel or pedicure. When I saw this I decided to give it a try since going to groomer with three dogs was getting pricey. One time doing all three dogs and I paid for this awesome, power packed unit. 😍

So happy with my purchase!
My fur baby is 8 and I always take her to Petco or the vet to get her nails done. But, with the current restrictions, clearly that isn't an option. I purchased this with little hope she would actually allow me to trim her nails. I spent the first 3-4 days turning it on and putting treats on or near it to get her used to the noise. Then for a day or two, I had my daughter hold her and feed her treats while I did one or two nails. Yesterday, I was able to trim all of her nails and delay a treat until the end. I am SO happy! It files her nails super fast and the amount of pressure (and therefore how fast it drills down) is easy to control. Not to mention it will pay for itself within two full uses since I used to pay $12-15 plus tip at the vet or Petco.

BEST EVER -- A MUST HAVE PURCHASE
I have owned many Dremmels from Lowes, Home Depot from Oster to Professional. This one beats them all hands down. The diamond bit is amazingly fast. The item is light-weight, portable, fits in the palm of your hand, with easy reach for safety to the on/off button, has a hole to insert the toe, placed perfectly for my Westies and Scottish Terriers (digger dogs with very hard, long nails bigger than my Shepherds were) aging range 4 months up to my 11 year old. The best thing is it is quiet, fast, safe, and get this -- recharges on a USB cord and fits in my pocket. A MUST HAVE PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE DOGS OR CATS. I just purchased another one as I can't be without this and want to have a backup just in case.

This one works!
I ordered two other nail grinders from Amazon before I found this one. Unlike the others, it works! I used this device straight out of the box to grind my dogs' nails at least three or four times before it required a charge. I don't know how long it took to charge because I plugged it in and went to bed. It was fully charged when I got up the next morning.*PROS: quiet on both settings and powerful even on the low setting.* It's surprisingly quiet--MUCH quieter than my husband's electric Wahl beard trimmer, for example--and it doesn't frighten any of my animals. I use it without the guard so I can get around the pads of their feet and between their toes more easily. We have five dogs that range from 12 lbs. to 45 lbs. and I've used it on all of them, even the blind ones. My Tibetan terrier HATES having her feet messed with and tries to set teeth in me, so I can only do one nail at a time with her right now, but it grinds quickly even on the lower setting, so she doesn't have to tolerate it for very long.NOTE: It is important to immobilize the nail you're grinding. If you simply touch this grinder to a nail, the nail will skip along the surface, which is painful and scary to the animal. I recommend holding the grinder still and maneuvering the nail against it until you get the nail ground down enough to round off the edges. Then hold the nail still and maneuver the grinder to get smooth edges.*CONS: Gets hot with use.* It does get hot to the touch after about 5-6 minutes of constant use, especially outside in Texas heat, so I either do one paw quickly and then let it cool before I start another one or I turn it off for a few seconds between nails. My pitbull mix has really hard nails that take a bit to grind down. She's chill so I just turn it off for a minute before I start another nail while she lies there looking pathetic. If you start getting past the pulp close to the quick and the grinder is too hot, they start to pull their paws away. I have not burnt or quicked any of them with this grinder. It's pretty foolproof. *PROS: Works on hard nails. Nearly impossible to quick a nail.**CONS: Will rip out hair (yours or theirs).* It will rip out a chunk of hair in a blink if you get it too close to their fur when they're wiggling around (Oops! Only happened once...) or if you are holding the device too close to your own hair. However, I love that I can round off the ends of their nails because they all like to stand up and stretch along my legs while I have shorts on. No more scratch marks! *PROS: Easily grinds down sharp edges.**CONS: Smells bad.* I've seen folks complain about the smell when you're grinding nails. It's true--it does stink. It smells like burning organic matter (like, hello?) and it leaves dust everywhere, including your clothing and anything near where you're grinding, like furniture or carpet. I don't grind with a mask on, but I do it outdoors and I wear glasses to keep the dust bits from flying into my eyes. I highly recommend keeping your mouth closed. That stuff is nasty if you inadvertently inhale it. Ask me how I know...but it's worth it to be able to groom nails without having to pay $20 a dog every time or risk quicking them with a nail trimmer.BOTTOM LINE: IT WORKS AND IT SAVES MONEY. I highly recommend this grinder. I might even start using it on my own nails...

Solid build and quiet!!
Got this on a recommendation from my groomer. I was looking for a solidly built device and this is it! Love that it is low noise. Came charged so started with training with my pup....positive techniques. He seems to be warming up to it quickly. Did manage to file one nail to start and on the low setting to start. Worked wonderfully. Definitely the product I was looking for. Love the USB charge ability.

Amazing for my older Golden!
With quarantine, out almost 10 year old Golden Retriever we due for a grooming. With his hips, when his nails get longer, he walks differently and aches more. I was afraid of traditional clippers because I didn't want to accidentally hit the vein. I wasn't sure how he'd react, or how many days it would take for him to let me do all four paws. He can be skiddish with noises, especially close to him. WELL, I got all four done in about 15 or so minutes. He let me, wasn't scared of the noise or the sensation. It definitely worked and we are good now for a while! I highly recommend this product!

it works!!!!
I had the pedipaws, and using 2 or 3 D batteries (who wants to keep feeding those) and my dogs nails could instantly stop the nail grinder on that thing, AND the amount of time i had to spend for the smallest results was to the point where I had been going to the groomer for a while now and paying 15$ x 2 dogs every 4-6 weeks (maybe more?) Regardless, this investment has already paid for itself and REALLY is a good product, its weighty (good motor), and grinds awesomely, the high speed function is night and day from the pedipaws. Really happy. I bought this initially because the groomer said i had to for a bath during COVID times if i wanted the nails to be done, so that alone was going to cost me more than this so I thought i would give this a try with the tremendous upside if it worked. It did and continues to do so. Both my dogs still aren't fans of getting their nails done, but i can do a paw quickly and do another paw later in the day or another time. I've charged it once after receiving it, and have been using it regularly to get their nails back down ( I was a little behind) and I haven't had to recharge it yet, so however long it ends up lasting, it's more than enough to get through 8 paws in a sitting.

Recommend as an alternative to nail clippers
My 16 pound fur baby hates having her nails clipped and doesn’t mind this grinder. Works great and you don’t need to worry about cutting their quick. Like the idea of power charging instead of spending money on batteries. Noise level very good as well.

Cumple su función
Es un aparato bueno, básico, cumple su función. Sólo se debe ser paciente y perseverante para lograr el resultado deseado. Mi mascota estuvo ansiosa al ruido en un principio, pero una vez que se le tranquilizó todo bien.
