SonyT-160 VHS Video Cassette (Single)

Sony is a great brand with high quality electronics. I used to use Memorex blank 6hr tapes and they SUCKED... The picture is much fuzzier than it should be, they jam up every now and again and I haven't seen any that go over 6hrs EP. TDK is ok, better than Memorex, that's for sure but make sure you get Superior quality; don't cheap out, your recordings will pay for it. These are pretty retro at this point but they're great for recording TV off your DVR so you can free up space on the hard drive. I do this all the time. The 8hrs is great and depending on the play/VCR (I use a Sony DVD/VCR combo) some machines will let you record just OVER 8hrs, like mine currently does on EP mode. The sound always comes in clear and it's the best picture your can get from a VHS tape. Do yourself a favour and go with these!

Have used these for years, as I still record and view on VHS most of my TV watching. These Sonys provide high resolution playback and a well built cassette with no squeaks and squeals (or eaten tape). Really no issues at all with these. I re-record until finally they just wear out -- as video and audio quality deteriorate with repeated recording.

I used this product to record my T.V shows and sports events as well. I have used this product once to record a sporting event and the tape worked just fine the way it’s suppose to. Yes I am satisfied with this product.

As an "old-timer," I still prefer tapes vs. disks: they're more functional and adaptable, especially for re-recording and/or leaving space on the tape to insert something else later on. Can't do that with dvds! Everything packaged carefully and arrived safely. The price and shipping costs were reasonable. Thank you.

It was in the wrapped spearing new but it would only tape less than 2 hours & stop.

I purchased these as a gift for my mother. She has been using Sony tapes for decades and loves them. For her needs, she feels that Sony VHS tapes withstand being recorded on over and over again with better picture quality, when compared to several other manufactures she has tried. Mom was thrilled with her gift and is looking forward to recording television shows again.
