Everlasting Comfort Memory Foam Travel Pillow - Airplane Neck Rest & Plane Accessories

I wanted a neck pillow so I could try to sleep in the mornings during my daily commute to work (50-minute train ride). I chose this particular pillow simply because it had good reviews; I wasn’t looking for anything special and didn’t read the description, so I didn’t know all the details.This. Frigging. Pillow. The producers went above and beyond. It’s nice enough that it’s memory foam, but it’s very thick (great for wedging your head between the seat and the wall of the train) and it’s contoured in a way that fits nicely around the head and neck.The pillow has drawstrings at either end that clip securely together, which solves a problem I hadn’t even realized I would have had, which is that there isn’t room in my backpack for it, but I can clip the pillow to the outside and don’t have to worry about carrying it or accidentally dropping it. You can even adjust the drawstrings to keep it from swinging around. They are also useful for keeping your pillow in place however you position it.Eye mask - rather than an elastic band (which gives me a headache), it has straps with long sections of Velcro so that you can adjust it perfectly to any size. It’s not a cheaply-made thing, either - it’s thick, padded, and curves around the nose to make for total light blockage. I love it so much.Earplugs - comes with two sets in a little plastic case that has a handle on it, so you can loop it through the pillow drawstring and keep everything together. The pillow also has a little side pocket you can shove this stuff into, too, and of course it has a useful carrying case.Everything about this product makes it obvious that it was very thoughtfully designed and manufactured. It’s clear they took the time to think about what inconveniences you might experience with similar but more generic products, and came up with something that completely nails it in every category. Not only does the pillow get the job done comfortably, it’s accessorized in a way that means carrying it is never a problem. That may sound insignificant, but when you’re wading through tightly packed crowds every day, it’s those little things that make a huge difference.

I love everything about this neck support pillow EXCEPT it's way too thick for someone like me that has a very short neck. I did open it up and cut it down and it seems fine now. The cover is very loose, but I'm ok with that.Short neck people need to be willing to do some carving to make this one work. It IS very well made, the outer cover material is soft and the blue color I got is very elegant. If I was not short necked, then this would be a 5 star review. It comes with a carry bag, ear plugs and an eye mask. For those long overnight flights this would no doubt be very handy.I actually use this for sitting in my chair watching TV. I tend to fall asleep and then wake up with a neck ache. Not since I got this. Good support. Although I haven't yet tried it on a plane, my guess is that it will be fantastic. I'll know in a few weeks and will update this review if it isn't as great as I thought it would be.

This looked optimal for support with the way its designed, however I found that personally it wasn't as comfortable as I would have hoped. This is not a product flaw per say, but for someone who is of a smaller adult build and therefore a smaller shoulder to chin ratio, this was too bulky. I had no comfortable way to wear it and it felt uncomfortable to wear, like I was wearing a neck brace rather than a neck pillow. As for ease of transportation with traveling, the carrying bag came in handy if only to unceremoniously shove the bulky pillow back inside and use it as a contemporary pillow. The one really great thing about this was the sleep mask. It blocked enough light that I could get a bit of fitful sleep on the plane.

I’m not overly thrilled with this pillow but it does what it says it does. The biggest problem is that it really doesn’t compress much so you need to allow for extra space.It’s okay comfort-wise but not a standout. I’m not sure if there is a pillow that is perfect for me. I only take pillows on very long flights because sleeping just doesn’t work for me. This kind of keeps my head from flopping over but it’s still not all that comfortable.

This was a questionable purchase for me. I had never bought a neck pillow and the most popular ones were plastic or small. I took a chance. This neck pillow is amazing. It wasn't that it was big and comfortable or that you can rotate it to get a more comfortable position it's that the pillow found most of its use after the flight. Some exposition, i snore but recently i've been chocking on my tongue giving me poor sleep. I'd go to bed, make up 13 hours later and feel like crap. I'd wake up hours after sleeping gasping for air. I could feel my heart pounding and look up to see my cat staring at me wondering if I was going to die. I little relief was possible by plopping my pillows up at an angle but no matter what happened I rolled on my back. When I blocked my ability to turn I'd get nightmares of earthquakes. I don't know what has happening to me.This pillow offered some great relief. I don't know why it works but I get full on 8 hours of sleep, even when I roll on my back Its no bother. I don't if i'm snoring or not but i'm sure as hell not choking anymore. It seems to prop up my head and neck and keep it straight while sleeping. I, I love this pillow neck thing.Some advice, the flat side goes on your shoulders, other way around seems to be too much. Also don't fully tighten the pillow. The moment you feel a little pressure keep it there. It may seem loose but too much feel annoying.The only Con is that after watching the pillow it wasn't the cloth didn't perfectly align itself back with the cushion. On the plus side it was close enough and it didn't seem to really matter.

I wish I had bought one of these years ago and not for travel but for relaxing watching TV, I have fused discs in my neck and it's bothered me since falling at 10 years old and this helps me to get and stay relatively comfortable without all the pressure pains from sitting up and tension headaches that follow.I recommend this to anyone who has regular neck pain. Wearing it for an hour here and there will definitely help, it does me.
