There is an easier way
Step works great, there's a video on YouTube showing how to cut the factory bracket rather than taking the whole bumper apart to use the supplied bracket. Made the install a breeze.

Fits my 2019 Toyota Tundra perfectly
The media could not be loaded. The Amazon description that says it fits a 2014-2015 Tundra is misleading. I called the AMP Research Tech Line and the helpful representative told me that Part # 75309-01A will fit my 2019 Tundra as long as it was equipped with steel, not resin, bumpers. I have the Double Cab, not the Crew Max, but the tech did not ask which truck I had, so I assume it fits both trucks, with steel bumpers that is. I ordered this part from Amazon just before 11:00 am and it was delivered to my home around 6:30 pm the same day. I was surprised and pleased by the quick delivery.I watched a couple of You Tube videos and read the directions before I started the installation at 7:00 the next morning. First, I placed a few pieces of masking tape on the body just above the corner of the bumper to prevent any scratching. Then, on the advice of others, I began to remove the rubber bumper caps from under the truck. If you try to pry them up from above, you will break the rubber clips off the pads. I worked patiently from below on each clip one at a time with a long flat head screwdriver and I didn’t have any trouble. The instructions are adequate, just keep your mind on what you need to do, which is remove the factory bracket and replace it with the one that comes in the kit. Yes, it would be great if Toyota installed a compatible bracket at the factory but they didn’t. Again, working patiently, it was easy to get the old bracket out and the new one installed.I installed the spring bracket and found it easier to remove two more bolts and remove a small bumper brace so I could swing my 1/2 inch torque wrench for the larger 19 mm bumper brace bolts, then the 3/8 inch torque wrench for the two smaller bolts on the spring mechanism . I installed the three cap screws that fasten the step, replaced the rubber bumper pads, peeled off the tape, and cleaned up my tools just before 9:00 am.I am not a big guy, I only weigh about 180 pounds, and the step seems plenty strong to me. It certainly makes climbing in and out of the truck much easier. The step is configured so it is also usable with the tail gate open. All in all, it is a great addition to my 2019 Tundra.

Great Product
This was a little tricky to install on my fairly new 2021 Tundra. It comes with a plate that you are to swap out with the existing plate that comes on the truck. I went to YouTube and found an easier way to install it. I installed it by cutting away a small area at the bottom of the existing bracket. YouTube has a very good video on how to do this and you will not regret it. Swapping the brackets is an all-day job and taking parts of your bumper apart that can be very difficult to do. Once you get passed the install the step is great. It works very well, and I love this thing. Just what I needed to get into the bed of my truck. Worth the money...

2016 Tundra Fits Great,1hr install!
Opened the box and checked everything, packing was perfect. Also watch the video how to install which was helpful. Yup broke a few plastic tabs getting off the plastic bumper upper top covers off to access bolts. Yes, I was careful but this is 2016 Tundra and plastic stuff goes on well but always comes off with broken tabs.It took me an hour from start to finish. If you done one of these before I bet you could do it in 30 minutes. The only thing that sucked was the upper bolts that hold the step to the frame you can see who ever designed this probably has never installed one. Getting the 2 frame bolts back in not able to see them took the most time. Could have been designed differently.Step fits perfect and strong! Glad I purchased this step so much easier getting up in the bed of the truck.Felt the price was a bit high took one star off and the from bolts design was a knuckle dragger.Blue Tundra pictures attached:

Solid 👍🏽
Contrary to what Amp themselves told me over the Phone 75309-01A DOES FIT The Tundra with the composite Bumper. I did not want the one that kicked off to side which they recommended. I purchased this with intent to modify as needed turns out I did not have to .. The people on here whining about difficulty to install are not mechanically inclined. Instructions were clear and install was a breeze. 2017 TRD PRO CREWMAX

Misleading Instructions
I followed instructions to the letter, ended up breaking bumper plastic cover conectors, breaking the plastic cover, and scratching the trunk body while trying to remove the installated bracket, and still couldn't remove it. After 2 frustrating hours of trying to get the bracket out to replace it with the one provided in the kit, I finally gave up, and start looking this issue online.Needless to say, the only way to swap this bracket is to remove the entire rear bumper out, which is something I can't do on my own as it needs 2 people to lift it. Who's paying for my damaged plastic cover and scratched body? And how come a big company like this provides misleading installation manual?Other than that the product itself seems solid. 5 stars for product but 0 stars for instructions.

Just what my Tundra needed
This was exactly what I was looking for!!! It allows me easier access to my bed with the tailgate down. It is very sturdy as I am over 200lbs. Not the easiest thing to install but YouTube helped with that.

AMP Research 75309-01A BedStep for 2020 Toyota Tundra
I bought this for my 2020 Toyota Tundra Limited. For anyone that says this was easy to install, I do not agree. I broke two of the tabs off on my top bumper trim trying to get it off and I was trying very hard to not do that. I was only able to torque 1 of 2 of the bolts that holds the assembly to the frame. Their was no way to get a torque wrench on the other. I was lucky to get it tightened. After it was finished though I can tell you that the end result is great. I really like the product and it seems very well made.

Great step, terrible install instuctions
I installed this on a 2020 Tundra which took a bit of planning. First thing you should do is check that you have all of the parts. Mine was missing the bolt to attach the slim piece to my bumper support. It wasn't a huge issue as I had spare nuts and bolts laying around that I could use to finish the install. The step itself is a 5 star but the instructions and vagueness of it leaves a lot to be desired. Here are a few tips to save you some time and aggravation. First, do not take the bumper covers off. You won't need to do that if you have a Dremel or some sort of cut off tool that will fit in the install area. Recip saw is not great in the area as it will bounce around. Use eye and hearing protection. It is loud and there will be sparks and debris.1. Take the bracket included in the kit and trace the bottom portion on a cardboard box. Cut it out and tape it to the factory bracket. This will give you and outline of where to cut the stock bracket.2. Cut out the outline as best as you can from the template. You don't need to cut it exactly but you need to make sure the opening you cut is either the same size or bigger.3. Take out the bumper support bracket that's held together by two 10mm bolts and set them aside.4. Grab an impact wrench with 19mm socket and buzz out the two bolts required to bolt the step mechanism to the truck. A full sized impact likely won't fit so if you have a slimmer one, it will work just fine. I used my smaller DeWalt impact for this.5. Fill the rough edges you cut smooth. Be careful as the edges and burrs are sharp!6. Paint the cut metal to prevent corrosion.7. Install the step per the instructions with the bolts. You'll need to start the 19mm by hand and then finish it off with a ratchet that has an extension on it. I tried to fit my impact in there and was only able to reach the bolt that was closest to the cab. There was not enough room to get to the rearward bolt.8. Align the step as needed so it isn't sticking out the side. There are some tabs that gives you some adjustment options. Don't put those little metal tabs in until you are satisfied with the position because they like to fall out. Once you are satisfied, pop the tabs in and fasten them snug.9. Test out the step and enjoy it!
