Arrived without issue. I applied a coat of Boos oil as the wood was a bit on the dry side. It has a small logo carved into one side towards the bottom.Pros - Takes up a lot less counter space than our previous Wusthof knife block. Seems like it should be easier to clean.Con - It has slowly been swallowing one of my paring knives that has a very smooth transition from blade to holster/handle. I can still access without issues, but it does look goofy.

We love how solid this knife holder is. We also think that despite our previous assumption that a knife magnet would be a space saver, the box design of this knife holder is quite space saving. Our 10+ knifes (including our giant Chinese meat cleaver coming in at 4.5in wide) are safely stored in this beautiful piece rather than floating dangerously in a drawer, ready to attack any unsuspecting hands... Whew!

So excited to recieve this knife block! I love that you can stick them in and customize your knife set with any you want! Very sturdy!!! And so pretty!!!

I can't use it because it came busted and it's a 20 minute to 30 minutes trip to get to a place to send it back to Amazon. It looks nice but must not be sturdy enough on the corners. Sorry

My knives are now SAFELY stored and are no longer in a drawer waiting to cut someone! Very easy to maintain and clean. It looks great on the counter too!

Heavy duty, sturdy, well-made more than met my expectations!!

I got this in order to hold four large steak knives that have large handles. Works perfectly, and my wife loves how the holder looks. These are heavy knives, but the holder is sturdy enough to hold them without tipping over.

The product felt heavy and probably well made. But unfortunately mine came broken, I’m thinking maybe the packaging got toss around during shipment.
