Sweet book to give a son.

Listen. I loved it. It was perfect to put in my sons time capsule. However, it is extremely religious and I had to cross out a lot of God and prayer wording. I made notes on each page because of that. So, all in all he will eventually get the warm fuzzies and a chuckle out of what I crossed out and added my own flare to. :) I wish it was more up front about how religious it was, but that's why I'm writing a review. To warn others. ;)

Purchased this for my 13 year old. Sometimes it's hard trying to tell a teenage boy how much you love them. Through mistakes, their growth and their potential that sometimes you feel like they don't see in themselves...this books says it all. He reads this constantly. Looking to purchase the other version for my daughter.

I loved this book. I wrote notes in addition to what she said and gave it to my son for Christmas. So much of what was written in the book by the author was exactly how I felt.

I really liked this purchase but I was disappointed that it took my young adult son a few years to make time to read it.

Very diverse but accurate and deeply inspirational words for mother to son!! I wrote my own personal message on each page...tears of joy and compassion flowed when I was writing my own words and when my son opened it at Christmas. His reaction was so deep and personal. He cherishes the book!

I glued in photos of us through the years and wrote in the blank spaces my particular words of wisdom. I teared up when I was reading this.Exactly the way I feel about my boy!

Beautiful book. I am adding my own touches.like journaling, drawing pictures, personal photographs, and adding my own comments. I can't wait to give it to my so one day.

Some ok ideas for the book I am making for my son when he heads off to Uni.
