beautiful
i hate ceramic - breakable chipable things - on granite countertops so i wanted something metal to hold the sugar. This is perfect - lightweight, pretty and unbreakable. Has a nice seal on top - not just a lid - there is a hard plastic rim extending down from the lid and that plastic is inside the cannister when the lid is on. It's a great piece. The copper is a pretty pinkish color and one thing you can't tell from the picture - the handle on top of the lid is gold, but it still looks perfect in my gray, white, and silver kitchen. It's kind of a nice accent.
