For anyone wondering like I was, the grinders are not only reusable but simple to open. There is a little arrow on both the glass bottle and top that when aligned allow you to remove the grinder top effortlessly. For a little over $2 you get a refillable grinder and salt. The same goes for all the McCormick grinders and even the ones you get at Aldi are just twist off tops, no need for flathead screw or any tools. Great way to stop waste by just purchasing the large refill bags of salt, peppercorns and herbs.

Having been diagnosed with CKD, I needed to limit my salt intake (too bad...I love salty things, lol). Now that I rarely use salt, I want one that's good tasting, small quantity, and freshly ground. This fits the bill. I stopped using regular table salt about 20 years ago, and sea salt has been my preferred go-to. This has an excellent taste.

Wonderful product, salt tastes great. Reviews say you can’t refill them. Yes, you can. Take a flat head screwdriver and carefully pop the grey ring off in 4 spots around the top. Then you’ll need needle nose pliers to pop out the inner white ring. It has very small plastic bits which you will need to pop upwards one by one. You can take the white ring out, refill the container, and then carefully pop the white ring back in. The grey one you have to line up the grinding measurements with the indicator divots on the top and it helps to have the cap to pop it back on. Then bam, new grinder! I refilled mine with cheddar cheese because it’s classy but you can put anything you want into an herb grinder.

After a bit of confusion about what package the item would be in, it arrived a few days later than I expected. I am very impressed with Amazon's trouble-shooting software. The item itself is quite wonderful; I get the salt ground to my needs and enjoy the grinding.

It is a top quality product. Moreover, at a very affordable price. I have tried many products of this type and this one is the best. I will definitely continue to purchase this product in the future. I highly recommend!
