Nice size and well insulated, but it's not going to replace a thermos. Keeps a few mugs of tea warm enough and insulated well enough not to transfer the heat to my tabletop.

After just two months of occasional use the vacuum has broken and I can hear water between the walls that I think could be dangerous!

Excellent quality, I cannot see a seam anywhere, beautifully made, great craftsmanship. It is so nice to be able to get a second or third cup of tea after 20, 30 or 40 minutes. The reviewer that said that tea gets in between the walls must have had a defective unit. That is NOT the case with my teapot.

This is perfect! We have an antique porcelain teapot that has served us well, but we hate to bring it camping and traveling for fear of damaging it. This teapot is sturdy and wonderful as a replacement. We first tried ordering the 20oz version, and that was too small. This keeps this pair of tea-swilling ladies of British and Australian heritage sated. Note: This is not a tea kettle! This is a teapot (where you leave your loose tea to settle and steep in recently-boiled water). Never put this on the burner or it will be damaged. You can't boil water in anything double-walled.

I like the idea it is double walled but tea gets in between the walls and it is a pain in the tush to get out!......if you do not boil it out it sours and makes tea funky.....it appears to leak tea from inside the spout....they need to rethink the design......but it does keep tea hot longer!I do not recommend this pot!!!!!Grunwerg Cafe Ole Double Wall Insulated 40oz Stainless Teapot

This is a lovely teapot which DOES keep your tea hotter for longer, BUT, it doesn't half drip from the spout! We get 4 good size mugs if tea from one pot full.
