Dover Stained Glass Color Book Butterfly Fairies (DP480348) (Dover Stained Glass Coloring Book)

I have been very happy with this book. The pages are what I call onion skin and can be colored on both sides if you like. The edges are perforated so the page can easily be removed from the book for coloring and even for copying if you prefer to work on paper or just want to compare the two types. You can hang these in the window for a nice effect as they are see through. I have used various media for different effect including Bic Mark-Its, colored pencils, gel pens and crayon. I did not find gel pens to work as well as the others. Daughter used marker on one side and colored pencil on the other which gave a nice effect. It is easy to blend as it takes a little while for the ink to fully dry. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

I love fairies and butterflies, and do believe that some fairies masquerade as butterflies! Beautiful drawings - can't wait to color them!
