I did a lot of research before I purchased these. My LG range model number matched those that were listed in the description. I removed my old knobs and measured to make sure the measurements of the new knobs were the same. They were. Then I crossed my fingers and ordered. The knobs came within two days, and as soon as I picked the box up from the front porch, I knew these were better quality. They are heavier than the knobs that came with the original range seven years ago. The outside is definitely metal not plastic although there’s a plastic insert in the back. My old knobs were all plastic with a metallic tape around the outside that buckled almost immediately in heat so these are so much better. In my anticipation of these new knobs I scrubbed my stove so the new knobs make the entire unit look brand new. This was the best $40 I’ve invested in a very long time. Can you tell I’m pleased? Initially some of the knobs were a little bit difficult to push in all the way to the back of the panel but after a little wiggling and pushing all five ended up in the right position. All five turn the burners on and off. I’m very happy.update a few months later. The knobs are getting harder and harder to turn. They have to be taken off and put back on and readjusted. I was so happy with these in the beginning. They're still better than the original ones that came with my range which were plastic with a piece of foil tape around the dial that wrinkled with heat. But I'm not as enthusiastic nowfollow up: after several months of use, there are a couple of them that had the little D ring holder inside crack so now the knobs just spin around and around. I don’t have much choice other than to replace the range so I will buy another set of these, because nothing else seem to fit.

Bought in Dec 2023, by April, the knobs were failing to turn properly, either would not turn or turned but without igniting gas burner. They take a lot of "fiddling around" to get a burner to light! They look great but do NOT function properly - they do not grasp the knob post properly. NOT HAPPY!

Love these big beautiful heavy knobs!!! Showing difference in size from plastic old crappy knob next to these new BIG knobs in my photo. Like so many others in Amazonland, I’ve had to replace broken LG knobs three times on my gas stove....in past 4 yrs!!! The original knobs and subsequent replacements are cheap thin plastic and literally split apart from heat from the stovetop after several months to a year ... ...ridiculous and maddening!These new knobs are much larger, heavy, and appear well made and substantial....note: these fit a little closer next to each other and now in opposite position (upside down) on my stove (now must turn to the left instead of right)...no biggie..you’ll adjust.LG SHOULD be ashamed for using horrible plastic knobs....I cuss them out every time another knob breaks!!!! Will never ever buy another LG gas stove (but really like their refrigerator...except cleaning drawers etc).I understand your pain (you gourmet cooks) and expense in replacing your stove knobs...unfricking believable. I hope to love these new knobs...little pricey initially but you get what you pay for! Don’t replace broken and split cheap plastic knobs with more cheap plastic knobs. Nice that there are 5 knobs in this set!!! Fingers crossed...just put them on five minutes ago 😃

This is the second set of knobs I have purchased. I replaced the original knobs after two years. The replacements I purchased lasted a little over a year. I purchased this set to replace the second set. The second set I kept having to tweak the inserts that actually contact the gas valve on the stove. For some reason they continually failed and would not allow me to turn on the gas. I purchased the previous set and this set from the same place. The set went on very solid and work well. I will see if they continue to work well. So far so good.

They are nice just did not fit my stove

Great stove control knobs! Very close to originals. Originals were very gross and starting to flake/wrinkle/fall apart. New ones fit very well (a little wiggle; no worse than what was there before). These new knobs actually feel heavier and more well made than the originals. Only needed 4; bought the 5 pack & I have a spare now. All for like 20% the cost of the OEM part.

I bought these knobs about 4 months ago to replace the factory knobs on my stove. The old knobs had the increments printed on stickers and the stickers were coming off.I was very careful to ensure that these would fit my LG stove. They worked fine for about a month. Soon enough I realized that sometimes the knob would turn but the pin that it was attached to did not turn. The metal collars inside of the knobs are flimsy little ribbons of metal and had deformed and come loose. Now I am frantic to make sure the gas is actually turned off every time I use the burners. I have discarded three of the five knobs as they are basically useless, and now I have to use pliers to use the damn stove!DO NOT BUY THESE.
