Most people just wax and plexi-scrape their snowboard or skis and are done with it. To get the best glide out of your stick, you need to remove as much wax as possible from the surface of your base. Roto-brushing really goes that extra step beyond hand brushing to get as much wax off your base as possible. This kit is easy to use and works as expected. You can nylon or horsehair brush at normal drill speeds, but the brass brush should not exceed around 800rpm to avoid damaging the ski/snowboard base.

Nice for fine tuning! Good for buffing and getting the perfect shine. Make sure you know what you’re doing!

I didn’t have a lot of luck with the cork, a flat hand cork still works better, could be my lack of experience though. Brushes are great for sure, waxing is quicker and better with this and an m12 drill

Great time saver for waxing and cleaning your skis. Would definitely recommend.

It saves the most time consuming time of ski tuning by doing a couple of quick passes with the brushes. I always coveted my friend's Swix RotoBrush when I tuned my skis over at his house, but couldn't bring myself to spend the $200+ those cost. This one has 3 brushes included for about half the price and works 90% as well. I do think the swix version threw the wax off better, these bristles are probably a little shorter or something. This one takes an extra pass or two but it beats the heck out of hand brushing. I'll wax my skis more now that I don't have to take the extra time brushing.

I broke down and bought these roto brushes after spending all afternoon trying to prepare 8 pairs of skis. My feet and back were killing me. These roto brushes speed up the process dramatically and they leave a better finish than hand brushing which made the skis feel even faster. The first time my partner and I went out they were almost too fast! Worth every penny.

I wanted a rotobrush for years but never wanted to spend the $250 for the Sw*x model. This was a great value and significantly reduces the time it takes to hot wax my skis. I patrol so I like to keep my skis in good shape, and this helps me a lot.

My husband and I don't know why we waited to buy this for so long. We always hand tune everything. (My gear, my husband's and my daughter's.) This year was the first year my daughter had 4 sets of skis for ski racing and for recreational skiing. We finally bought this and can't stop dating we should have bought it sooner. We became the default equipment manager for my daughter's ski team haha!Definitely worth the purchase. Stop thinking about it and just get it lol

Very good set of brushes for the price! I ordered the cork roll by mistake instead of the brass brush but I just brush the bases with a manual brass brush instead. Just pay attention to this detail at checkout.
