Had a friend go wrong side up with his kayak a few weeks ago. Sure, it was funny. A lot actually. Everything was nice and secured except his tie down straps, little ice chest, and his paddle. I caught up with the ice chest and paddle 50 yards down river and realized how much it would suck to finish the next several miles sans propulsion. I mean, really. A long stick like an old school river boat? Tie his boat to the back of mine and paddle us both? I would likely have taken my paddle apart and shared one end with him. Those might work but aren't high on my list. He received a 3 pack of paddle/gear lanyards for part of his birthday gift (I'm aware they come in a 4 pack) and was glad to see them. They are long enough to grab the ice chest from the back, get what you need, and toss it in its spot without it being tethered directly to the kayak. Also long enough to paddle comfortably without adjusting your stroke.

As a South Florida kayak fisherman, need tough, durable, everything proof in order to withstand salty conditions, and these are about top of the line leash for your money.

Very helpful. Got the 4 pack. I hooked mine to my life jacket, my boyfriend hooked his to the kayak. Both worked fantastic. I was concerned that it would get in the way while paddling but I didn't! It added a sense of security that I found really helpful when putting the paddle down to take pictures or eat a snack or anything. It's plenty long when not stretched out.

Velcro material holds firmly, elastic material has great spring and is easily pulled against. The woven material over the elastic bands seems durable and breathable (dried fast). I’m happy with it and will likely buy the 2pk or 4pk next time

If you were looking for a strap to safeguard your expensive fishing reel and rod, you found four high quality but really a bargain! I bought four pack and I bought another four just in case the price goes up or they stop selling it. They fit well with both spinning and casting rod. I use it for my expensive rod and reel and when I deep sea fishing. I strap on end to my rod securely and the other end to my belt or the hand rail on the boat. This is definitely a rod/reel saver for you and you should most definitely have on for your expensive equipments. Also, I highly recommend this for children and your amateur friends/Girl friend that want to borrow your stuff!! They are very quality and probably the best deal on Amazon or any where... a sunglasses straps cost more than these four straps! Great deal and I highly recommend it.

This paddle leash is a must have for kayakers. It’s easy to use, just clip into your kayaks straps. It is very long so never gets in the way of paddling. Don’t let yourself get stranded upstream without a paddle!

These are a pretty good length, have decent clips, are flexible enough, and do their job.

These are really good quality and the price was awesome for 4. Not sure if longevity as I just got them. Totally questioning why I have never had them as I paddle in some good sized waves.
