They love these things and they can be used in so ...
I work as a play therapist with small children. They love these things and they can be used in so many different ways...as a stress reliever, anger manager (stretching), even as rope to tie up evil dragons!...I absolutely love them. The best thing about them is they really last and keep their shape. Even after being stretched, thrown, wrapped around evil dragons and more, they bounce right back. There is a little shredding here and there, but as you can see, there are plenty of noodles left behind to keep it looking good. Amazon also has the best price....have seen same item on play therapy websites where they are priced much higher....

My sensory kid love this, as do I
My sensory kid love this, as do I. I originally bought only one, then had to buy another for my other child. They feel like real spaghetti and it's so soothing to toss from hand to hand. My kids love putting it on their head and hiding small toys under it, then looking for them. Great item to take on an airplane or long road trip. This item isn't sticky, but it does have a little 'wetness', but you can sprinkle it with baby powder to make it go away. The item does have a rubbery scent. It's not super strong, but if you have a sensory kid who is sensitive to smell, then they may not like this item. My 5 year old sensory seeker loves it as much as my non-sensory 2 year old.

DO NOT BUY!!!!
I was already familiar with the texture of these types of toys but this was extremely oily and boarded on dirty. I did not expect it to be a "jumbo" ball which is ridiculous and unnecessary. And if that was not enough it was already ripping. To top it off it is non-returnable!!! I am a special ed. teacher and bought this for my autistic students, I do not have $12 to waste on a toy they can not use.

Know what to expect
I've had this product before so I knew what to expect. For me, it's everything I wanted and I wasn't surprised by anything. There's just two main 'problems' with it that you should know before you buy.1) It comes with a nasty residue that gets left on your hands, and it actually was sort of all over my package. Gross. Thankfully it's easily fixed: wash with any soap and water, dry it off (hard to do with the strings, just be careful), and then add baby powder. I had to do it a few times but for me that was worth it.2) It's a pretty delicate product so younger children will rip off some of the pieces. If whoever will be using it is at an age where they can restrain from doing so, it's fine. But I wouldn't give this to little kids, especially if they were at the age where they might be putting anything in their mouths.Personally my kids and I love the texture so much that it's worth it. But if you're just looking for something to keep your kids busy, this isn't the right thing.

Cool, but broke apart too easily for us
It was cool at first, but broke apart quickly and easily. Just didn't work out like I wanted and was quickly gone. Found tiny strings of it broken apart in the floor, which just doesn't work for a house with a small toddler in it.

Yes it has a slightly odd smell and texture from a powder that is coated on it but it is necessary to keep the spaghetti strands
I bought this for a family member that loves sensory toys and he was thrilled with this one. Yes it has a slightly odd smell and texture from a powder that is coated on it but it is necessary to keep the spaghetti strands from sticking and it's easy to accustom to. This type of toy doesn't hold up long but they're cheap and there's no other toy that replicates this sensory experience.

Baby powder causes ovarian cancer!
I see a lot of reviews recommending coating the toy in baby powder and this is a bad idea as it has been directly linked to ovarian cancer! The spaghetti ball arrived in a disgustingly dirty bag, the packaging around the ball was an absolute mess and looked like it had been kicked around a parking lot for a few months before being shipped. ITEM IS UNRETURNABLE BUT AMAZON WILL REFUND!Not worth $10. Cool concept, bad price point and the fact that it is so oily and obviously collects dust and dirt even makes it a bad product. Disappointing because it could be a really fun fidget toy! I'm going to wash it and see how dirty it gets in a day or two and decide if we can keep it for any period of time... Will update rating and review if it isn't gross tomorrow!

Great sensory toy
My grandson, who has autism, absolutely LOVES this sensory toy. This one is larger than some others I have purchased, and holds together better. The strands do break on occasion, but that's just because he plays with it so much. When it gets too tangled, I put baby powder on it and the tangles fall right out. Will definately buy more of these.
