CREATIVE SXFI AIR C USB Headphones with Super X-Fi Audio Holography Technology, 50mm Drivers, Detachable ClearComms Microphone, and RGB Light Ring for Movies, Music, and Games

The actual earphone speakers are very good, but there it ends: The original Audigy, which I still have, has a much more effective Xfi and Crystalizer and could also be used from 3.5mm stereo-jack devices which unfortunately the new headphones cannot do - SXFI only works on USB. Volume through the 3.5mm is weak, the Volume control is erratic and intermittent, software poor, and a voice makes unintelligible announcements at every switch-on. Technical performance data is non-existent - a growing trend these days.Creative's earlier 'Audigy' headphones were very good and could be used from my phone or my Creative equivalent on an iPod so these new types seem to be for 'gamers' and to connect to social channels only. I also had a small, separate, Creative Xfi Crystalizer which plugged to a USB-A port and provided stereo via a 3.5mm jack socket and this could be used with a PC/mac. I am trying to locate the older types as they are much more suitable. The claim of the older units is that they synthesize what compression took out of MP3 and the 'restored' output was impressive. I need more of the originals!
