Great for lighting interior of chicken coop!
I was looking for solar powered lights that were suitable for lighting up the interior of my chicken coop, that I could turn on/off when I wanted them on and off, not by motion detector sensor. I came across these, but only after looking at many, MANY other lights, almost all turned on by a motion detector. By FAR, these were the most inexpensive lights I found, from a very limited selection, not only on Amazon, but on any of the chicken/poultry/livestock websites that I came across and/or was familiar with. I'm going to buy more than several more for the interior of my hen house, my dog kennel, and to keep on hand for anything that might come up in the middle of the night, either in the coop/barn/pasture, because they come with an attached bail and hook so that they might be hung up on a tree or rafter, if needed. I have, right now, 46 chickens (22 still in pullet stage), 2 ducks, and 2 turkeys, 4 donkeys (including one VERY pregnant jenny, who may domino at any time), 3 old horses, and 8 dogs. YES, I have a farm, and sometimes need a LOT of light, in a hurry. Just last week, I had a mare get very cut up on some old barbed wire I didn't know was in my pasture, and I have had to doctor her sometimes in the dark this week, because my husband was late getting home from work, and I am handicapped. These lights are rated at 130 lumens, they come in a 2-pack, and provide a lot more light than you might think! However, because they are LED, they do not get hot, and are not suitable for heat, no matter if you use enough to light up the Chrysler Building! Use a heat lamp, safely, if you need heat.We have had these in place for about 2 weeks now, and they are performing just as expected. Since I have not had any problems with them, (and I am keeping 22 pullets and young chicks warm with HEAT LAMPS in an incomplete henhouse), I am giving them 5 stars. If they begin to give me problems or fail, I will amend my review accordingly.

Good purchase and versatile lights.
They aren’t as bright as a regular house led lightbulb and have a very cool white light vs a warm one but they will work just fine for the closet and crawl space which is what they were purchased for. Seem made ok. I would not stick the solar panel outside without a protecting overhang or something as the weather would likely make the foam part decay and loosen away from the solar panel. The foam part is attached on the back and has adhesive so you can stick it down that way. I just place in the window inside and it charges just fine. My hubby also saw it charged under a regular house lamp as well so he is thinking about running the cable and solar panel up near the ceiling from out of the crawl space so it can charge from the light in the hallway. Not sure I like that idea for visuals but just saying because it would work and if one was using in a shop or something it might be useful to know it’s possible. Charge lasts for running the light at least 6 hours straight. That is how long I had one on so far straight. Likely lasts upwards of 8 or more hours. The hook they hang on is nice and easy to find something to hang it on in many situations. I would purchase this item again and I like that they don’t need a battery or electric plug in to charge. Good purchase.

Not water-proof
After keeping these solar lights outdoors by chicken coop for one month, these lights are NOT water-proof. After a heavy rain, I noticed the plastic light bulbs had rain water inside the light fixture. Water get's in by the USB connector, or on/off button. (At least, they should've drilled some small hole for the rain to drain out at the bottom of the bulb). Also, the USB connector is starting to rust. After re-reading the instructions, I've misread (says it is NOT waterproof), they should made that stand out more. When I read this 5 times before, I read up to the point where it says, "..can be used in any weather.." and I stopped reading after that.[Wide Application: Ideal for home lighting, camping, cooking, working, reading, shed, chicken coops, emergency and blackouts, etc. Note: The solar light can be used in any weather, but it is not waterproof.]I got these April 16th, 2020. I now have these bulbs under a tarp over the chicken coop, and the solar panel on top of the tarp. One of the bulbs still works great, but the other (because of the rain) glows very faint (actually, I keep this on 24-hours, and still glowing very faint.). The working bulb is the right brightness, not too bright, just a soft glow by the chicken coop door.

Absolute best rechargeable lights.
I bought some of these years ago and love them. I use them everyday for specific things. They work better than a flashlight. I have a deep closet that is pitch black, these little bulbs shine bright so I can find what I need in that closet. I also use one outside at night when I need. I just bought a couple more but original 2 is still working perfectly.

Only 1 works properly
The first light works great, but the other is very dim. I need both to be the same so i will either order more or another style. I thought it might just not be charged so i have let it charge in the sun for 2 days. Still very dim unfortunately

Not very good quality (updated)
The product works well, but the quality of the cables soldering is poor. I have another set and I just connect the lamp and it start to charge but with this set I need to find the right position for the cables so the lamp can charge. The problem is that I can't change the cables because there is not plug, just a cable that come out of the solar cell. This problem appeared from the begining, it's was hard to know what was the problem (lot's of rain, etc). From update: The lights are not charging anymore, it was a waste of money. I am strongly not recommending buying this product.

Cute little bulbs, nice long cord for solar.
I had tried this kind before, some brands worked good, other's not. These so far have workedvery nicely. Good strong light, several brightnesses to choose from, small size and bestof all a nice long cord so you dont have to put it right near a window where you dont need it anyway. Hope they will last awhile.
