Rainproof is emphasized in the design. I'm sure pouring a full glass of water over it will just instantly bead off and not penetrate the zipper. It's a good all-around bag intended for inclement weather but I use it for general purposes. This is a fairly large tallit bag with dimensions just a bit larger than a vintage LP record cover. Still, it is foldable with a large tallit inside. It hangs nicely in the closet with a coat hanger running through the handle. There's an owner info tag stitched inside. This is a bag made of tactical nylon rugged enough to be used as checked baggage for air travel.Three pouches: Main pouch for tallit, slender bottom pouch apparently for an umbrella, and a rear pouch for a full sized siddur or tanach. The main pouch has inside yet another *hidden* interior pouch (*cough* ccw) of good dimensions. I don't use the strap (which is easily removed) because the handle is strong and made of hardened super nylon. Zippers and gilded zipper pulls are sturdy. Zippers are also the quiet kind that don't make a hugely audible sound when opening and closing. Stitching is rugged. The golden embroidery is attractive and there's plenty of room for custom embroidery work.It might be nice if this tallit bag was available in blue.

I received this 1/21/23.Normal use / wearThe handle is ripping off from the bag. I’m not rough with it at all.A bag at this price should be more durable

Just after a month of use and the zipper in the front (large) pocket already broken. I'm disappointed and frustrated because I've missed the return period for just a few days..

Upon bringing the first day to shul three more grown men have purchased it because of how sturdy, large, and practical it is. I didn't want anything with too much bling. I wanted something that would moderately stand out or blend in depending on the place. The black canvas with the gold print is awesome. The pouches for me are a little too large and I would like for more of a selection of sizes; however it still does the job well. I can fit my telit, pens and highlighters, notepads, and books all in one place. I bring it to all of my bible study groups.

I would have much preferred a small bag,such as the tefilen bags,but I did not see one so I settled for this item.My son was elated with this gift.TksBill Salloway

This was an amazing experience. I ordered my tallis bag for my husband for his birthday. The package arrived on time, but when I opened it, I realized it was a size larger than what I ordered. Then I get an email from the seller asking me for feedback. I told them my issue, and they not only sent me another bag in my size, but they let me keep the old one! I love this Tallit bag. It is large so it plenty of room for my Tallit.The real bonus is all the zippered compartments, so I can keep my Kipot in a small pocket and then I have large section for my Tankh and amy other books, plus another small compartment for some sweets to help with dry mouth in long messages or study sessions.

It served it's purpose after I sewed the handle back on securely. Outside of that little defect, I love it.
