Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold -Nintendo Switch

This game is much like Yo-Kai Watch Blasters meets Fantasy Life. Witty and silly dialogue, unique and interesting cast of characters filling the game with charm, a lot of monsters to befriend and weapons to obtain, and the ability to unlock more and improve the items you get makes the game very fun to get those many drop items needed per mission. Its a definite must play for anyone who enjoys these dungeon crawling sort of games.I have yet to play online mode, but if its anything like Yo-Kai Watch Blasters, it will be just as enjoyable with friends. What I will say is a huge improvement from Blasters, however, is that the end-mission rewards; Instead of getting a single item, you can get up to ten reward chests with a random item per chest, and you get every single item instead of having to pick one. Makes your missions feel a lot more worth your time with a higher payout. But if you don't like gacha mechanics, you might want to avoid the game as rewards are random with what you'll get (outside of the preset list of items you CAN obtain per mission) and even weapons, accessories, and other equitable items will have random stat boosts which can either make the game a breeze or barely add anything to your overall stats to be worth while.I'm still early in-game, so if there is a way to alternate these boost slots to other tools to be more useful or they're stuck to that tool only no matter what... I wouldn't know. Regardless, I'm having a very fun time playing this game and already have sunk over 6 hours worth of game play since the game was released.

It's a fun game the story us funny and they love to mention that you're playing a game in it. The only downside is I thought it was going to be open world like fantasy life for the 3ds but this is mission based so you can't explore

I cannot stress enough how great this game is.The adult in me enjoys all the intricate systems this game functions on. Every enemy has a pun, many of them two or three puns in the same joke (it is no wonder it did not port outside of Japan right away: translation teams need more time to come up with the best puns.) The combat system is simple, but fun, and there is a compelling gameplay loop.The kid in me knows the game is simple enough to be played by children. They do not need to learn the rules, they can go at their own pace and just have fun: as soon as my brother gets a Switch I am 100% buying this game for his children because ...The engineer in me marvels at the way they designed the system. An adult such as myself will farm for the best gear, upgrade it, and have a variety of tools available to be swapped in at need. But that is 100% not necessary to play: you can auto-equip before each quest and it will pick weapons to fight the enemies you are going to face (and a shield that blocks what you are likely to have thrown at you - if you have the right kind.) When you get close to an enemy, you can press a button to auto-equip the weapon you brought which deals extra damage to that enemy. A four year old can play it, and might laugh harder than you at the puns.6 out of 5: they went above and beyond making this game.

apparently its a port of a mobile game. enjoyed the humor. hate the camera angles.

I found this game on dekudeals website, in the "bang for your buck" category. Amazon had it for under 18$, and the game boasted 800+ hours of content. This little gem has a ton of food puns, meta humor and doesn't take itself too seriously at all. It's really fun and has plenty to do. I have over 65 hours in the game so far and I've barely scratched the surface. Anyone who likes to mindlessly grind away to upgrade gear and collect pets (called snacks), and generally enjoys silly humor, I recommend this game highly.

Bought this game as i missed playing fantasy life. This give a little FL vibes but i felt like something is missing. Don’t get me wrong, it plays great but the charm is somehow not enough. Though I want to keep playing as i want to get better equipment everytime. It is the kind of game where you tell yourself at 1am in the morning “ok just one more mission then i am off.” Then next thing you know it is already 4am.

I should really give this 4 stars, but I can not. This game is awesome, funny with some clever writing.My only complaint would be..... I die way too much in this game. Still fun and worth every penny.

Es muy cierto que el juego es de ir una mazmorra tras otra pero ahí es donde entra la inteligencia personal para sacarle jugo a cada misión. Luego hay que decidir a qué mazmorras regresar para obtener alguna arma, materia prima, premio gordo, boleto o monstruo para reforzar a tu equipo, todo se puede planear porque desde el principio te cuenta el nivel del jefe de cada capítulo. El juego es muy divertido por el humor, doble sentido, voces de los diálogos y los absurdos en los que cae la historia (¡no es queja!). En la versión japonesa se podían conseguir armas y monstruos con juguetes NFC (como amiibo) pero aquí los regala una adivina en uno de los eventos diarios. Me hubiera gustado descubrir este juego en su fecha de lanzamiento. ¡Muy recomendable!
