Just received this backpack and it’s great! My main purpose for buying this is so I have somewhere secure to keep my 7lbs pup (est. to grow to 15 lbs) while I transport either on a Citi bike, MTA bus or subway. Only downside is the chest strap is very tight. With an average bust size, I’ve already extended the chest strap to the fullest extent and I can barely clip it on. With my coat on it’s impossible to clip. Only the waist clip is useful. I understand the bottom of the bag needs a sturdy base so your pet isn’t sagging inside the bag but , I’m not thrilled that the bottom of the bag kind of digs into my lower back (I have a history of disc herniations so it’s more sensitive). If you’re hiking with an animal, this may not be the bag for you. But dog loves sticking her head out and then just relaxing when she doesn’t want to. Also loving the clip inside!

this solved my how do i ride my bike with my dog? this is the way. the baskets don't work well. they tend to sag making for dangerous situations. however, my dog hops in that back pack and we are off. She pokes her head out and is so happy or will tuck in for a nap, She loves to nap. Get one you won't be diappointed. She weighs 15 lbs for reference and there is plenty of room for her.

We got this for our 12 lb dog. My wife tried about 10 different bags. This was by far the best one. We've had it for a few months now and can't complain. It's comfortable to wear, and there is decent space for the dog to be comfortable. The vents help keep the dog from overheating.

I really liked the quality of this carrier, however it did not fit my dachshund’s long body even the the weight was within limits.

It is so comfortable to wear and my doggie doesn't seem to mind it at all. She gets excited everytime I bring it out, cause that means were going on a bike ride. It is slightly too big for her since she is a tiny little Pomeranian but thats not a problem. The neck closure is adjustable so you are confident your baby is secure. And to make sure she is not sliding around in there, I throw a little blanket in there with her and she could be in there for hours without fussing once.

My 9# chihuahua LOVES this backpack. Spacious & comfy. She has enough room to lounge & get comfortable. The removable plush bottom is great, seems to be easy to clean. Bag is durable & made well. Chest strap is tight, needs more length. Comfortable to wear, does not slide off shoulders. Backpack arrived earlier than expected 😁

I hesitate to criticize this bag because it is very good quality, however the soft shape and lack of structure did not work for our pup. She kept crawling out of the top and getting her entire upper body out of the hole so she was almost falling out which made her very hard to wear/ carry. If I tightened the string around the neck hole she was not tall enough so it was choking her. The base is too soft for her to sit on the bottom so she could not get comfortable enough to settle down. Great idea but does not work in real life. Also, I missed the return window so I'm stuck with it.

This is a nice pack. I like that there is plenty of air as my dog gets hot easily. My dog is small so I will need to add something in the bottom so she can see out of the hole. I like that the bottom is firm. Her weight won't make it buckel. There is a strong smell but will go away after you let it air out.
