Arrived on time and looks like the picture. I gave it as a gift so can only comment that the look was ok. I don't know about the washable parts.

Got this for a friend as a gift. Really disappointed, the box it cones in, is a big standard brown cardboard box. Nothing interesting, eye catching or even slightly pleasant. So as a gift, no good. Then the cup, bog standard white cup with a little picture on it. Considering it's a cup, for the price I was expecting abit more .... I could of bought this from poundland, thats how unimpressive it is... would I recommend, absolutely not.

My friend was very happy with this mug.
