I have what is politely called an "aggressive chewer." In practice, this means that he can't have tennis balls (he literally sandpapered his teeth flat with a tennis ball in one day as a young dog), things like Jolly Balls have an intact lifespan of a few hours, he can grind down a raw bone to nothing in record time and, although he loves to fetch, his toys just don't survive. This thing has held up way better than I expected. The balls at the end make it less evenly weighted, so it's a little more interesting for him when thrown or bounced. It's a bit heavier than most balls which makes him work a bit if he's holding it off-balance, but be aware it's got some weight to it if that's an issue for your dog. He hasn't made a dent in it, despite chomping on his way back to me after catching. The ridges on the grip part both help clean his teeth and make it easier for me to get a grip on the thing amidst the sea of drool. Also, it's rubber so it can just be hosed off when it's disgusting. I rarely find toys that are this big of a win for my dog and also this cost-effective.Now, if Nerf would make a specialized thrower so I don't have to touch this thing when playing with my dog, it'd be perfect. For now, he loves it so much I'll put up with the slobber.

I have 2 German Shepherds. They destroy every toy I get them. I found a really tough nerf football. It lasted a good while but eventually bit the dust. This I have had (bought 2 of them actually) for a year. It is not even damaged and my dogs love them. They are heavy and my largest dog pulls and fetches and generally chews the heck out of it and it withstands it all. It will last! Just don't let your dog drop it on your foot. That hurts.

I bought the 2 pack for my dog we have had for 2 years and our new puppy. They are on their way to learning how to share toys but we still have some time ahead of us. My older dog loves to chew, always has. He is a large 90lb mix so finding something he won't chew right through and is affordable is pretty tough. My little guy is is a puppy and going through his teething stage so he wants to chew everything. These are great for them. Good quality and I can see them lasting a long time.

This is a tough one (ha! see what I did there?), because although these have lasted longer than pretty much any other toy we own, our dog seems to have lost interest in these. It definitely isn't one of his favorites, maybe because he doesn't get the satisfaction of DESTROYING it. He has done a couple massive chewing sessions with the bone and they've helped up beautifully. I just wish he liked them more.

My labradoodle is a heavy chewer, but she hasn't made a dent in the Nerf barbell chew toy. She has ripped other chew toys, including chew toys that are "everlasting" and "designed for heavy chewers."She enjoys playing with the Nerf barbell and will chew on it for a while. Her favorite is to play tug-of-war with it due to the barbell shape that allows her to grip it well. Very happy with our purchase and I would buy again!

So worth every penny! These were bigger then I thought they would be. My dog loves loves them! He is a big chewer and usually breaks every toy within minutes. These have held up so wonderfully. He already has one single bone but a little smaller and has not destroyed yet. I wanted to update his collection and went with these. I’m so happy I did!

I bought these for my pit bulls in the hope they wouldn't be destroyed within days. I was not disappointed. They stand up well to aggressive chewers, and have the best bounce! The banks on the end are solid rather than home so they have just enough give to deliver the chompers. Great for both chasing and chewing. Definitely recommended.

I purchased this product from Nerf Dog because their toys are the only ones that are virtually indestructible. We have a 85 pound Pitt Bull/ Mastif mix that destroys other "indestructible" dog toys in a few minutes. After a few months of chewing the only thing he has been able to do is chew off tiny bits of this toy. If he swallows the tiny bits they are easily passed through his system.I'll be looking at purchasing other things from Nerf Dog.

A good solid toy but heavy. My dog has shown little interest in it but i will say that its excellent quality. Quick delivery.

This toy is very durable. My dog destroys every other toy in 5 minutes flat. This one is still going after several weeks without any damage. The only down side is it’s quite heavy. I think the two ends are completely filled and so not good for playing fetch indoors with.
