Great for the price!!!
Worked great.... (except for the trunk/liftgate button...but, for the price you pay, it's too be expected). I'm just glad we have extra keyfobs that work. We bought a used 2009 Acura MDX and only one keyfob (driver 2) was provided. It freaked me out not having an extra fob and when I checked Acura prices for an OEM, they were ridiculous. The remotes work great. The Amazon 3rd party locksmith that came out to program the fobs and cut the keys was awesome. He explained everything and let me take pics of the key cut codes. The fobs are made in China but they are great for extras if you don't want to spend the $$$ for the actual Acura fobs and programming.

Worked Great!
I had my doubts. I went to the locksmith with no guarantees from them, I had to pay for programming and key cutting without guarantying it would work. First they tested the frequency and it was the same as my original key. Then they cut the key and that worked for the door. Then they programmed it and it worked! I was very happy. The original replacement key would have been over $350. Once everything was done it was around $150 using this key. Talk to your local locksmith for procedure and prices.

Worked for a 2009 MDX. I swapped out the key and placed it into this
My 2009 MDX key fob looked beat up. Read reviews and i removed my old key and placed it into this. The this has no trunk release button. The most difficult thing thing was swapping out the spring that makes the key flip with the button. For the life of me, I spent a couple of hours and gave up until I came across a YouTube video. I don’t think I can post links. Search for poster Acura Addict or titled Acura MDX key fob replacement and reprogramming DIY. Basically, the key is in the up position. One end The spring is inserted in the key slot cut out. You will then turn the metal plate to the 9:00 position and insert the other end of the spring to this plate from the bottom (there a hole for it ) then put the plate over the button and turn the plate to the 12:00 position which is the resting position where you place the three screws. Tighten and that’s it. You can follow the programming at the top of the Amazon description. It works great.

Worked for my mom's 2007 Acura RDX
Worked for my mom's 2007 Acura RDX.My mom had been trying to fix the key fob for her spare car key for a while. The dealership said that it would be over $300 to replace the key fob. I read several listings on Amazon before deciding on this one.I was able to switch out the electronic bit of the new key fob with the old key since that was still good and save her a trip to the locksmith. It took less than 5 minutes. Then I used the instructions of a previous review and reprogram the new key fob in seconds. Thanks to the previous reviewer for that. My mom was super happy that I was able to fix her spare key for $30.I should note that the eletronic portion of the old key fob did not fit into the new uncut key so if it is the key portion of the key fob you need to replace be prepared to have to take it to someone that can cut car keys. Also the plastic of the new key fob was fairly hard to take apart compared to the genuine acura key fob. The plastic also feels super delicate so be careful when taking it apart.Edit: it is possible to put the old electronics onto the new key but it requires you to literally cut off an L- shaped piece of plastic at the bottom of the old FOB as it doesn't align with the hole on the new key. Other than that the old FOB fits snugly into the new key.

They said I couldn’t program it… ALTERNATE PROCESS DID
Looks and feels like the original. I purchased this key fob for an Acura RDX 2008. The two original fobs had non-working buttons. I exchanged successfully the blank key for the old key. With the new fob came a note with three links where I could find instructions to program the fob. To my surprise, they said there was no DIY programming for my car, and that I should see a dealer or locksmith with the necessary equipment.Humbug! I said, and searched The internet. All procedures I found stated doing a particular process 4 times, and sure enough, it did not work for my car . Then I found within the reviews (not sure if to this fob or to another brand, and forgot to write the name of the genius, so if you are the hero and read this, many thanks!!) a variation of the process. Tried it and was successful at the first attempt. $$$ saved! So… the process to try if the usual one fails is:1. Using an old key, turn ignition to ON but do not start the car.2. Within 5 secs press and release the LOCK button on the new remote.3. Turn the key to OFF.4. Repeat 3 more times BUT at the 4th, after pressing LOCK, DO NOT TURN THE KEY TO OFF; instead press LOCK TWO more times, THEN PRESS UNLOCK5. Turn key to OFF and remove6. Open and close door (you can exit or stay)7. TestHope it works for those having problems; and again thanks to the original poster of the process.Note: not all parts of the new fob are similar to the old parts. Buttons are hollow and the mechanism is different. So you cannot swap the buttons to your old fob. The key is the same shape and is swappable.UPDATE - 5/24/2022: Key fob still working well. Have dropped it several times and nothing broke. I see the seller added the additional steps to the instructions; that helps! Cannot comment on the sturdiness of the metal key blank since, as I said before, I swapped it myself with my old key. Total cost under $30

Works great for my 2008 Acura MDX
I took this to my local locksmith for them to cut the key and program it. The guy ended up using Acura instructions online to program it which is step by step that anyone can do (no software or special things are needed). So save some money, just have them cut the key and then in the parking lot, program it yourself. If you run into issues, pay them more to figure it out and program for you. Works like my original OEM key but it a slight be heavier.

Perfect replacement for oem
I bought multiple of these. I simply gutted the old keys, for the key part and swapped it into these.Following a few easy steps to reprogram Honda/Acura key fobs, I now have two fully functional cut keys which I can drive my car with, and a third “You are an idiot for locking both sets in the car” key which is not cut, but using the buttons on the remote, will unlock the doors.I keep that one in the safe.
