both my daughter and wife regularly have time out on their little island. The seasons change, birthdays, even interior design job, residents come and go. for todays stressful lfe its a nice break. As the Dodo says, 'go chop trees and watch the bees'

Fantastic game. Brilliant addition to the animal crossing franchise. Keep in mind it's one island/save per switch console, so choose wisely! Multiple kids can't use the same game on two different consoles for example - it would create two separate games/islands. This also means there's no online save game backup feature, been very frustrating for me as I have issues with my switch and would buy a new one if I could transfer my save data, but alas, I can't so am stuck with this switch trying to make it work. Otherwise 10/10 game, very chill!

Been playing animal crossing since new leaf and I was VERY excited to hear this was coming out. Been waiting months for it to be delivered.Since release date I’ve been on it non stop. It honestly makes this whole lockdown not so bad!I love how there is never any rush about it and no competitiveness about it. It’s nice and laid back. You can go on it at any time and just play for however long you want.The only downside I have about is if you have multiple people in the household who want to play they join YOUR island. Which is annoying. My husband is constantly running over my flowers and stealing stuff. If your reading this Nintendo please fix this no one wants to share an island they want their own.

A very nice and captivating game. However, dialogue can get quite annoying and long at times. Would definitely reccomend this to both children and adults

So I had a difficult choice.Doom eternal for the gaming PC or Animal crossing for the Switch Lite.....I dont know what life changing event has happened recently but I never would have thought I would have picked Animal Crossing.I am not disappointed. Who should have thought a desert island with a massive mortage could be so captivating?I'm not a creative guy, but now I'm constantly hoping for a new item to kit out my garden. Or to re-vamp my man cave. (The wife refuses to get involved with games)Though I did find the strange mutant animals rather disturbing and kept my axe handy at all times, my fellow islanders are starting to grow on me. To the point I get upset when my real animals dont show the level of excitement when i greet then.The line between reality and being Rich of Dobie Land is becoming dangerously thin.A must buy! Just be careful to keep your grip on reality!

I have to say I was really hyped about this game before it got released and now that I have played it I can safely give this 5/5 every day of the week. It’s a fun lighthearted game that finds you having to explore a deserted island and make some new friends along the way. I let my 10 year old son play it and he loves it too. It’s very child appropriate and does a great job of helping kids understand what has to be done next.

I've played a LOT of games on the Switch, but Animal Crossing is my new favourite. I come back to it every day to look after my island, tidy it up, pay off my debts to Tom Nook to get a bigger house, and expand my island. I'm so excited to go back onto it every day - there's just endless possibilities and each game play experience is unique. I love visiting friend's islands too. Join the fun!
